El Cuyo is a quaint fishermen village in the Yucatecan emerald coast. You can find this charming village on the beach at the northeast coast of the Yucatan Peninsula, where the turquoise blue Caribbean get together with the shallow waters of the Gulf of Mexico. It is located only two hours from Cancun and three and a half hours from the colonial city of Merida, capital of the Yucatan state. El Cuyo is a small beach community where you will enjoy the ambiance of a port. Everything about it invites you to relax and enjoy the beauty of the nature. El Cuyo is located inside the National Park of Ria Lagartos, which is internationally famous for the 30,000 pink flamingos that come to the area between January and September for reproduction. It is also the home of the Sea Turtle that visits the beach shores between June and August to lay their eggs in the sand. You can visit also: Chichen Itza, Ek Balam, Holbox Island, Valladolid, Izamal, private cenotes and undiscovered Caverns.

• Shopping and Dining: can be reached by walking for 5 minute(s). In Puerto del Cuyo there are several restaurants available for breakfast lunch and dinner. I highly recommend La Conchita Restaurant, it has an Ocean view and serves delicious breakfast and fresh Seafood, especially lobster and shrimp.
• The unit is Ocean front. Beach gradient is gradual for a long distance. Beach surface is fine sand. There is a dock. The dock is public. There is room for 121 boats. Beach Equipment: Rentals Nearby.
• Nearby Attractions: Mayan Ruins within 60 minutes by car or bus. Flamingos within 10 walking minutes. Sea turtles within a 5 minute walk. Fishing and snorkeling in front of house.
50% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 30 days in advance). There is no security/damage deposit required. If you cancel anytime, payments (less 10%) are refunded if the unit is re-rented.

• No smoking is allowed.
• Children are allowed. A High Chair can be provided.
• Check in after 2:00 PM and check out before 11:00 AM. Check in/out times may be flexible upon request.
• Dogs and Cats are allowed but must be approved by the Owner. A fee of 50 will apply.
• There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours.
• Maid Service is provided every 4 days during a stay. An optional Daily Maid Service is available for the following fee of 20.
• Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
