Cabin is located at a 7000 foot elevation in the middle of the Helena National Forest, just steps from the Continental Divide Trail. It offers unmatched mountain views of some of the most beautiful wilderness areas of the GoldWest area of Montana, near the original path taken by Lewis and Clark, 200 years ago. This 7 acre lot is home to a large herd of elk, which often appear in the front yard, along with other local wildlife including moose, fox, wolves and bears. In the winter, the views are magnificent, and the cabin provides access to nearly 400 miles of snowmobile trails.

Cabin is equipped with washer, has a large front porch for wild life viewing, and firepit. Master bedroom has small porch. Kitchen table doubles as game table. Snowmobiles on site and available for rent. 4 wheel drive is a must to get to this cabin.

Distances

• Shopping and Dining: can be reached by driving for 45 minute(s). The cabin is in a remote area in the Helena National Forest, a mile from the nearest home, and 12 miles from the nearest major road. It offers peace and quiet year round, but it will require a 30 minute drive to the small town of Elliston, or about 45 minutes to the state capital of Helena, where all types of stores and restaurants can be found. A four wheel drive vehicle will be required most times of the year.

Payments and Policies

Payment Details

10% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 60 days in advance). A refundable security/damage deposit of $600 is required. If you cancel anytime, payments (less $100) are refunded if the unit is re-rented.

• No smoking is allowed.
• Children are allowed.
• Check in after 3:00PM and check out before 11:00AM.
• Dogs and Cats are allowed. A deposit/fee of 50.00/pet will apply.
• There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours.
• Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure. No housekeeping is provided during a stay.
