View

Out the front you have a gorgeous view of mountains and the Hoodoos. You're on the 4th hole of the Fairmont Mountainside Course at the base of impressively rugged mountains out the back. By walking a couple of hundred yards you can look South down the valley across Columbia Lake.

More Information

The house has a sauna for relaxing after golfing or skiing. There is also a screened porch off the living room at the front. Unit has combination keypad so late check in is no problem.

Distances

Cranbrook airport - approximately one hour.
Golf: can be reached by walking for 5 minute(s). You're in the middle of some 17 courses within 1 1/2 hours, many of which are of championship calibre and most of which are between a 5 mins. and 1/2 hour drive. The house backs on to the 4th fairway of the Fairmont Mountainside course.
Ski lifts or Runs : can be reached by driving for 45 minute(s). A family ski hill at Fairmont can be reached in a 10 minute drive. A world-class ski resort at Panorama is a 40 minute drive. There are 2 other major ski resorts within 1 1/2 hours.
Shopping and Dining: can be reached by walking for 5 minute(s). There is a commercial area with a grocery store, liquor store, videos, internet cafe, gift shop, pub, service station and hardware store. In addition, the Fairmont Hot Springs Resort as well as the Mountainside and Riverside Golf Courses offer a variety of pubs, lounges and restaurants. All of this is within a 10 to 20 minute walk.
The drive to Columbia Lake is less than 10 minutes; the drive to Invermere, where there is a public beach on Lake Windermere, is 20 minutes.

Payments and Policies

Payment Details

1 nights rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 30 days in advance). A refundable security/damage deposit of 200 is required. If you cancel less than 30 days prior to arrival, there is no refund unless re-rented.
Owner accepts payments by: Personal Cheque - Money Order or Cashiers Cheque - Cash
If you cancel 30 or more days prior, payments are refunded.

Policies

No smoking is allowed.
Children are allowed.
Check in after 4:00 PM and check out before 11:00 AM.
No pets allowed (Except for Service Animals).
There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours.
No Maid Service is provided during a stay.
Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
