Brand-new appliances (2008). Ice cube trays in freezer. Salt and pepper, powdered creamer and sugar supplied. Cleaning products supplied. Coffee maker and coffee filters are supplied, recommend bringing your own favorite coffee, as it is not regularly stocked.

Bed Summary

Master Bedroom

1 Queen Bed (sleeps 2), 1 Single Lower Bunk Bed (sleeps 1) and 1 Single Upper Bunk Bed (sleeps 1). The master bedroom has its own large closet, dresser, mirror, lamp and television. It also has its own entry, window to the outside and full en suite bathroom.

Bedroom

1 Queen Bed (sleeps 2) and 1 Single Bed (sleeps 1). The second bedroom has its own closet, dresser, mirror, lamp and small television. It has a window to the outside and is adjacent to a full bathroom.

Living Room

1 Queen Hide-A-Bed/Sofa Bed (sleeps 2). The sofa bed is enhanced with a foam mattress pad.

Bathrooms

Bathroom 1 has toilet, bathtub, shower, hair dryer and one basin.
Bathroom 2 is an en suite and has toilet, bathtub, shower, hair dryer and one basin.

View

The view of trees, ski runs and mountain is not obstructed by any buildings.

• Golf: can be reached by driving for 10 minute(s). There are 1 golf course(s) nearby.
• Ski lifts or Runs : can be reached by walking for 10 minute(s). A shuttle bus is available to transport you from your door to the ski lifts. We have been told that there is no fee but sometimes guests have been told they need a ticket. The tickets can be purchased from the bus driver. To obtain more information or to inquire about shuttle service into Fernie, call 250-423-8605. Transit time to the hill is about 5 minutes. At lunch or the end of the day you can usually ski directly back to our building(ski out trail conditions permitting). A map showing how to find the ski out is located at the back of our Visitor Guide.
• Shopping and Dining: can be reached by driving for 10 minute(s). During the ski season, there are numerous restaurants on the hill within a ten minute walk. A shuttle bus is available if you want to go into town and prefer not to drive. It is a five minute walk to a small grocery and liquor store.
• Nearby Attractions: Mountain Biking information can be obtained at bikefernie.com,crankfernie.com or skifernie.com. Hiking information is at ourfernie.com. There is great flyfishing for Westslope Cutthroat and Bull Trout. More info at elkriver.ca,ferniewildernessadventures-fernieadventures.com, KootenayFlyshop.com and davebrownoutfitters.com. Rafting, paddling and horseback riding are also available in the area. Swimming and picnicing is great at Surveyor's Lake at Kikkimun Campground, about 30 minutes away. Follow the highway west until you see signs for Kikkimun Campground.

Payment Details

2 nights rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 7 days in advance). A refundable security/damage deposit of 500 is required. If you cancel anytime, all payments are forfeited except your security/damage deposit.

Policies

• No smoking is allowed.
• Children are allowed.
• Check in after 4:00 PM and check out before 10:00 AM. Check in/out times may be flexible upon request.
• No pets allowed (Except for Service Animals).
• Guests are asked to be quiet between the times of 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
• No Maid Service is provided during a stay.
• Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
