The unit is right by the Elk River, internationally famous for fly fishing and lazy days floating on an inner tube. The river has many points for wading and swimming. Cool, clean water from mountain springs. Other swimming destinations include: Island Lake Lodge, magnificent publicly-accessible lake on the grounds of this famed lodge. Views like no other. A 10 km drive from the unit up the road. Maiden Lake - small lake in town. Dozens of alpine lakes, rivers and Provincial/National parks in area.

    Payments and Policies
    Payment Details
    50% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 30 days in advance). A credit card is required for a security/damage deposit. If you cancel less than 60 days prior, there is a full refund. Discuss shorter periods with Owner.
    Owner accepts payments by: Visa - Money Order or Cashiers Cheque - Direct Bank Deposit - Cash
    Cancellations with 45-59 days prior notice will receive an 80% refund of total booking. Cancellations with 30-44 days prior notice will receive a 65% refund of total booking. Cancellations with 15-29 days prior notice will receive a 50% refund of total booking. Cancellations with 14 days or less will receive a 50% credit for a future stay at this unit (subject to availability) within 12 months of original booking.
    *Please note that the above policies relate to the Owner's portion only.
    Policies
    • No smoking is allowed.
    • Children are allowed.
    • Check in after 4:00 PM and check out before 11:00 AM. Check in/out times may be flexible upon request.
    • No pets allowed (Except for Service Animals).
    • There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours.
    • No Maid Service is provided during a stay.
    • Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
