Kootenay 2-story cabin, built of native fir timber beams & yellow pine plank floors, on 11 acres of Lake Koocanusa shoreline, 20 minutes from USA border. At Lat 49°11'8.05"N, Long 115°12'49.40"W(Google Earth),its peace in the country with neighbors either distant or invisible, screened by forest. Cabin is on paved cul de sac, snow cleared in winter, 25 min. from Fernie ski hill, 1 hr. from Kimberley ski hill & 90 min. from Big Mountain at Whitefish, Montana. Bike, hike, or drive less than 10 minutes to Surveyors Lake/Kikomun Creek. Area abounds with wildlife, scenery, colorful locals, swimming, fishing, golf.
