Beautiful 1950's 2 storey cottage in the heart of the Canadian prairies. Within a 5 minute walk you will find an exquisite 9 hole golf course, a huge natural sand beach on one of the loveliest lakes in Saskatchewan, a driving range, and a full service lodge with restaurant, bar, grocery and games area. The cottage is newly renovated and offers over 1800 sq ft of living space. For the summer and fall seasons other local activities include great pike and walleye fishing, boating, bird and big game hunting. In the winter, you'll find great snowmobiling trails and excellent ice fishing.

    1 Double Futon Bed (sleeps 2), 1 Twin Lower Bunk Bed (sleeps 1) and 1 Twin Upper Bunk Bed (sleeps 1). Upstairs bedroom with lake view to the north.

    1 Twin Cot (sleeps 1). Ensuite alcove can double as a nursery/spare bedroom or a reading room. Beautiful views of the prairie landscape to the south.

    Some may enjoy the lake views to the north from the second floor, but we prefer looking over the never ending prairies that stretch to the south. To the east is a neighbour cabin and to the west is two empty lots, after which are several more cabins then the golf driving range.

    • Lake is located within a 3 minute(s) walk. Beach gradient is gradual for a short distance. Beach surface is coarse sand. There is a dock. The dock is public. There is room for 2 boats. The main beach is called Leslie Beach and is one of the largest and nicest beaches in Saskatchewan. The water quality is excellent and provides for superb swimming, fishing and boating. Powerboats are allowed on the lake. There are a number of other beaches around Fishing Lake, all accessible by vehicle.
    • Nearby Attractions: If one has never experienced the expansive Saskatchewan prairies, then that is the biggest attraction and lies everywhere you look! Besides that, there are no substantial tourist attractions anywhere close. This is a place to relax and enjoy life... no driving or timetables required.
    Payments and Policies
    Payment Details
    200 of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 45 days in advance). A refundable security/damage deposit of 250 is required. If you cancel anytime, payments (less 100) are refunded if the unit is re-rented.
    Owner accepts payments by: Money Order or Cashiers Cheque - Direct Bank Deposit - Email Money Transfer

    Policies
    • No smoking is allowed.
    • Children are allowed.
    • Check in after 3:00 PM and check out before 11:00 AM. Check in/out times may be flexible upon request.
    • No pets allowed (Except for Service Animals).
    • There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours.
    • No Maid Service is provided during a stay.
    • Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
