**A Wonderful Stay**

My wife and I stayed in La Maison for three weeks in May, 2011. During our time in Fumel we had an assortment of guests and family that stayed with us for various portions of our time there. The property was chosen because of its ability to comfortably accommodate guests, its central location in Aquitaine and to provide a pleasing venue to entertain our guests. It was perfect on all counts. The bedrooms, amenities, common areas and bathrooms are very comfortable. The kitchen is superb and was very suitable for preparing group meals. One of the most enjoyable activities of the trip was for the group to gather at one of the exterior seating areas every morning for coffee and, again, in the evening for local wines and cheeses. Our trip was made all the more pleasant by the graciousness of the owners. When we arrived Carolina greeted us with wine, cheese, crackers and information about the property and local attractions. During our stay we all greatly appreciated her kindness and helpfulness.
