Although we love children, due to the nature of the furnishings, it is not really suitable for children under the age of 5 years. Also care needs to be taken with young children as the balcony rail is quite low. The necessary care and attention would need to be taken by the parents at all times. A baby up to 9 months is accpeted.

• Nearby Attractions: Situated on the south of the island, Garajau is a quiet residential area, just 7 kms from the hustle and bustle of Funchal.
If you want to be close to golf, diving and walking, then it is the ideal location as you have all three on your 'doorstep'.
Just below Garajau you will find the viewpoint with the Cristo de Rei - Christ in Majesty. A stunning stautue facing out to sea.
The coastline is a conservation area and infact one of the first underwater nature reserves in Europe. It provides santurary to the whale, dolphins and seals.
The recently opened cable car will take you down to the beach of Garajau.
Caniço de Baixo - at sea level, is only 5 minutes by car and has several hotels and the main pebble beach. The vilage of Caniço, also only 5 minutes by car, but above Caniço de Baixo, has a church, bars, restaurants, local shops and shopping centre; the later open every day except Christmas Day and Good Friday.
30% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 60 days in advance). There is no security/damage deposit required. If you cancel less than 60 days prior, there is no refund unless the unit is re-rented.

• There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours.
• Maid Service is provided every 7 days during a stay.
• Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
