The views from the house are absolutely wonderful, all the windows serenely guards the spectacular blue sea and Furore countryside which has been untouched by time.
Situated 12 kms away from the cliffs of Amalfi along hairpin bends overlooking spectacular views, Furore or “Terra Furoris” is named for the fury of the waves beating against its cliffs. This unspoiled village of scattered houses spread along the ridge of the Lattari mountains, right above the Amalfi drive cliffs, is the alternative to the well-known seaside resorts of the Amalfi Coast. It represents a rural escape, unspoilt by mass tourism and offers beautiful walking itineraries, breathtaking views, typical craftsmanship, mild climate, reclusive atmosphere and a superb cuisine excelling in delicious, local specialities.
The house, situated on the first floor of a 2 storey house of modern construction, it has been pleasantly furnished with modern and comfortable furniture. The owner, who reside within the property’s grounds, does not encroach on client’s privacy.
Accommodation: entrance from the terrace onto a bright dining/sitting room with fully equipped kitchen corner, dining table for 6 people, sofa, French doors which give out onto a full length balcony for sitting and enjoying the spectacular views of the surrounding mountains, sloping vineyards and citrus groves to the sea. Along the corridor are situated the twin bedroom with French doors to the balcony, the double bedroom with TV and French doors to the same balcony, and the bathroom with tub.
Access is trough remote controlled gates and then 15 steps up to the terrace.
• Napoli Capodichino Airport is within a 90 minute(s) drive. The nearest airport is in Napoli (Capodichino), about 65 KM away (1.5 hours driving time).
The nearest train station is in Salerno, about 35 KM away ( approx. 1 hour driving time).
• Shopping and Dining: can be reached by driving for 20 minute(s). Centre of the village of Furore is 3 km away and provides for all immediate essentials ( bars, shops, and post office). Just few minutes from the house are two family restaurants. The town of Agerola is 10 minutes drive from the village with a large selection of restaurants, bars, shops, banks and other amenities.
• This accommodation is about 25-30 minutes from the sea. Casa Scalesia is a 25-30 minute drive from the beaches which are situated in Amalfi, Atrani, and Minori.
• Nearby Attractions: Amalfi ( nearest beach, boats and hydrofoil to Positano, Sorrento, Capri, Ischia and Napoli) 15 Km, Ravello 16 km, Positano 25 Km.
30% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 60 days in advance). A refundable security/damage deposit of 300 is required. If you cancel less than 30 days prior to arrival, there is no refund.

• No smoking is allowed.
• Children are allowed. A Crib and a High Chair can be provided with a deposit/fee of: Crib € 52,00, high chair € 25,00.
• Check in after 3:00 PM and check out before 10:00 AM.
• No pets allowed (Except for Service Animals).
• There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours.
• No Maid Service is provided during a stay.
• Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
