Master Bedroom

2 Queen Beds (sleeps 4). Large master has love seat, cable TV. One of the Queens is an adjustable Craftmatic bed with massage.

2 Queen Beds. Mural bedroom has a 15' lighthouse and ship custom painted mural.

1 Double Bed and 2 Single/Twin Beds. Large bedroom on the 3rd floor. The double bed is actually a futon.

1 Double Bed and 2 Single/Twin Beds. This room has the entrance to the full rooftop patio. Double is a futon.

Living Room

1 Queen Hide-A-Bed/Sofa bed. Located on the first floor for guests that do not want to go to the 2nd or 3rd floor for the other bedrooms.

Family Room

1 Double Bed (sleeps 2) and 2 Single Beds (sleeps 2). There is a 2nd Floor landing as well as extra space in the Master Bedroom that will allow additional sleeping space. There is a Double Futon and 2 single cots that can be moved anywhere. Plus available air mattresses.

Bathrooms

Bathroom 1 has toilet, bathtub, shower, hair dryer and one basin.
Bathroom 2 has toilet, shower and one basin.

View

There is a panaramic view of historic Galveston from the rooftop patio (4th floor!). You can see the Gulf beaches, the Cruise Terminal and cruise ships in port, the large medical center - UTMB, and the beautiful Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

More Information

House has 2 living rooms and a games room. Indoor Hot-tub, rooftop patio, outside shower. Horse drawn carriage rides can be arranged. Wedding Chapel 2 blocks away. Transportation to and from Cruise Terminal, Hold of Local Purchases. (Galveston has two cruise lines that operate over 5 ships that leave the port. Cruise terminal is only 2 miles from the unit. We offer van transportation to and from the Cruise Terminal. If people are staying at this unit prior to their cruise and make local purchases - antiques, souvenirs, etc., we can hold them until they return from the cruise - so they don't have to ship them home or board the boat with them.)

Distances

• Houston Hobby is 40 miles (45 minute drive) and IAH - Bush Intercontinental is 65 miles (1 hr. 15 min drive)
• Shopping and Dining: can be reached by driving for 20 minute(s). You can walk to the Seawall (5 short blocks away). The Seawall is listed in the Guiness Book as the longest "sidewalk" - over 32 miles long. Most of the outstanding restaurants are located on the Seawall and can be walked or driven to. OR - you can walk 4 blocks the other direction and catch the antique trolley that will take you to The Strand which is 2 miles from the unit near the Cruise Terminal and Galveston Port. There you can view the port, antique shop, and dine on the waterfront.
• Beach gradient is gradual for a long distance. Beach surface is fine sand. The Galveston Seawall is only 5 short blocks away. Stewart's Beach is five short ends of blocks from the unit. This is a full amenity beach with chair and umbrella rentals, restrooms, and life guards. You can drive onto the beach or walk from the house or use one of our bikes.

Payments and Policies

Payment Details

The booking is confirmed with a credit card and payment made on arrival. A refundable security/damage deposit of 250 is required. If you cancel 30 or more days prior, payments (less 50) are refunded.
Owner accepts payments by: Visa - Master Card - American Express - PayPal - Money Order or Cashiers Cheque - Discover Card - Cash
If cancel less than 30 days prior to arrival, security deposit is not refunded unless re-rented.

Policies

• No smoking is allowed.
• Children are allowed. A High Chair and a Play Pen can be provided.
• Check in after 3:00 PM and check out before 11:00 AM.
• Dogs and Cats are allowed under 40lbs (14kg) in size. A fee of 25.00/pet will apply.
• There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours.
• An optional Daily Maid Service is available for the following fee of $50 daily.
• Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
