This attractive farmhouse next to the owner's home has been carefully restored to retain its traditional charm and character. The spacious interior has cool rooms, whilst the typical farmhouse dining kitchen is well-equipped with modern appliances. From this room, patio doors open on to the terrace and poolside. This is an ideal spot for families, having enclosed shady gardens with swings and a private swimming pool. Set in peaceful countryside, within walking distance of the sleepy little village of Saint Simon, the area is a delight to discover. Colourful markets abound in the nearby villages and wine-tasting of the local Pineau' aperitif can be found everywhere. With the fine sandy beaches of Meschers and the fascinating port of Royan just twenty-five minutes drive, the location is perfect. Other attractions are the historical city of Saintes, just a short drive and the bustling sea-side resort of La Palmyre with its zoo, water park and marvellous beaches - a haven for families with children. The booking is confirmed once signed documents have been faxed and 25% of the rental price (+ 28 Euros booking fee) has been paid. The remaining 75% of rental fee must be paid at least 42 days prior to arrival. If you cancel 75 or more days prior, payments less 15% of rental and 50 Euros are refunded.
