    Our unit is located on the west side of scenic Glen Lake in a heavily wooded, very secluded and private area. Large windows face Glen Lake giving a spectacular view of the lake and opposite shore. Included in this view are mountains that rise up from the east shore of Glen Lake. Part of your view also includes Therriault Pass. Located at the top of this mountain range, it is a large glacially formed U-shaped pass. Years ago a glacier swept through this pass and down into the valley below where is scoured out the lake bed of Glen Lake. As the glacier receded the waters filled this basin and formed Glen Lake. Glen Lake is a picture perfect mountain lake. It is about 1 mile across and 2 miles long. Periodically you may spot an Osprey or Bald Eagle doing some fishing. Frequently, Whitetail Deer will be seen in the front yard feeding in the morning. We have also seen elk and moose on occasion, but deer are very common.
    More Information
    Our Lodge is situated on a 1 acre wooded lot located about 100 yards up a slope from Glen Lake. The lodge construction is called post and beam. The frame of the house was built using huge Engelmann Spruce logs (26 inches to 38 inches in diameter) from Prince George, Canada. All the ceilings are constructed from tongue-and-groove pine planking. The walls between the logs are sheetrock. The massive logs give the Lodge a majestic look and feel and the sheetrock adds a clean and finished appearance. This is truly a very unique and beautiful structure. Construction of our unit was completed in the fall of 2002.

    • Kalispell Regional Airport is within a 60 minute(s) drive. Glacier National Airport is the closest major airport and is located 65 miles away (a 1 hour drive). The entrance to Glacier National Park is a one hour drive (70 miles). The home is actually 20 miles from the park but the entrance is south 70 miles. Home is 8 miles from the Canadian border.
    • Golf: can be reached by driving for 45 minute(s). There are 3 golf course(s) nearby. There are several golf courses within a one hour drive.
    • Shopping and Dining: can be reached by driving for 45 minute(s). Dining and shopping are available in Eureka, Montana which is located 5 miles from our unit.
    • Lake is located within a 5 minute(s) drive. Direct access to Glen Lake is not available. A public beach area is located within a 5 minute drive.
    Payments and Policies
    Payment Details
    50% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance on arrival - cash or traveler's check). A credit card is required for a security/damage deposit. If you cancel less than 90 days prior, there is no refund unless the unit is re-rented.
    Owner accepts payments by: Personal Cheque - Money Order or Cashiers Cheque - Cash

    Policies
    • No smoking is allowed.
    • Check in after 2:00PM and check out before 11:00AM.
    • Dogs are allowed but must be approved by the Owner.
    • There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours.
    • Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure. No housekeeping is provided during a stay.
