Things to do in Osoyoos

Oliver BC - Okanagan River Bike Path - If you are travelling to the Okanagan be sure to take the family to Oliver BC to ride their paved bike path along the Okanagan River Channel. It's an easy and flat 10km route. The trail is accessible from many spots along the way - including the Visitor's Center which has free parking and a playground nearby.
Extend the ride:
Add on the 8 km stretch south to Osoyoos Lake where you will see an Osprey nest or two. This section of the trail is unpaved and bumpy in sections. If you want to start this trail from the south end and head north to Oliver: from Hwy97 in Osoyoos go east on Road 22. There is a parking lot where the trail meets the bridge. The trail goes south for about 1km and north to Oliver.

Oliver provides tremendous opportunities for mountain bikers of every skill level and thrill quotient. Easy riders can warm up beside the Okanagan River, pedal country lanes among cherry and peach orchards or take on the moderate slopes of Black Sage Road for a tour of vineyards and wineries.
Thrill seekers, strap on the gear and check out the experts-only downhill plunge at TKO off the Golden Mile Trail. Landscapes include orchards and vineyards, dry grasslands dotted with antelope brush and sage, stands of ponderosa pine, granite cliffs and mountain lakes.
