Guests may arrive on any day of the week.

Special Conditions

This rental price includes cleaning prior to and after stay as well as a tour of cottage, boat house and to show you how to use the generator and start the boats etc plus taxi to and from island, dock usage for the boat at landing and parking. If you are a second time renter we will give 10% off of nightly amount.

Please note that linens/towels are not supplied. You must bring your own.

Bed Summary

Master Bedroom

1 Queen Bed (sleeps 2). This bed has air in it to adjust the amount if you like it hard or soft. this room has a nice pine unit with shelves for clothes storage.

Bedroom

1 Queen Bed (sleeps 2). This is beside masterbedroom. It has a mirror and small dresser.

Family Room

1 Queen Pull Out (sleeps 2). This is a pull out couch in family room. More than 6 can book here and even use a tent on the other side of island just ask. We usually have kids on the floor on air mattresses. Usually spend all time outside.

Bathrooms

Bathroom 1 is an en suite and has shower and one basin.
Bathroom 2 has toilet and one basin.

More Information

We have one firepit only with a large fryer pan that you can fry on too. Please do not start fires around the island. We would also ask that you keep your garbage and recycling together and give to the property manager to remove from the island with you on departure. You may burn anything "burnable" that is safe for our environment. We sometimes bath in the lake....please use biodegradable shampoo and soap. If you have any ideas on how we can make your next trip even more enjoyable let us know. We do have life jackets for most sizes available as well as fishing rods and all that you would need to fish except worms you can buy everything at the local store. We have knives to cut the fish etc. You will need a fishing license if you plan on fishing. Kids are free.

Distances

• Pearson Toronto airport is more than 120 minute(s) drive.
• Shopping and Dining: can be reached by driving for 25 minute(s). If you are hoping to get out and dine this is not for you. When you are on Carley Island you will go catch your own fresh water fish.... use our boat house with fish cleaning centre, and knives. Dip your fish in egg and garlic batter and fry it on the BBQ. Grab a glass of wine, your fish, and salad and watch the sunset on the dock.
• The unit is Lake front. Beach gradient is steep, drops off immediately. There is a dock. The dock is private. There is room for 2 boats. The water around the island is constantly flowing like a river so therefore very clean. There are two docks, one in front of the cottage and one in back of the cottage. No seaweed, nice clean water. Beach Equipment: Powerboat and Row Boat.
• Nearby Attractions: New Lisker is an hour East and Northbay is approx 2 hours South west which has Science North etc and shopping malls etc.

Payments and Policies

Payment Details

20% non-refundable deposit is due at time of booking.(Balance due 30 days in advance.) A refundable security/damage deposit of 500 is required. If you cancel 30 or more days prior, payments (less 20%) are refunded.

Policies

• No smoking is allowed.
• Children are allowed.
• Check in after 4:00 PM and check out before 12:00 PM. Check in/out times may be flexible upon request.
• A maximum of 1 Dog is allowed but must be approved by the Owner. A deposit of 300.00 will apply.
• There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours.
• An optional Daily Maid Service is available for the following fee of 50.00.
• Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
