Base rates are for 4 persons for the main floor of this vacation home. The lower level and or the summer house, for up to 12 more persons is available for an extra fee of $300-600 per week. These spaces only available to guests renting the main floor. Discount: Senior's discount May, June, Sept, Oct - 10% off. Stays of longer than 7 nights - possible discount, contact Owner Direct. During high season Jul/Aug only 7 night bookings, arriving Saturday afternoon and departing Saturday morning.

1 Queen Bed (sleeps 2). The master bedroom is on the main floor and is decorated with original art and tastefully furnished with contemporary Scandinavian teak furniture which includes a very comfortable bed. There are side-by-side walk-in room closets with full length mirror doors. There is an ensuite door to the 4 piece bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub. 1 Queen Bed (sleeps 2). Second main floor bedroom with a wonderful view of the ocean and is furnished with a brass bed, an antique bureau and rocker. A large double closet with full length mirrored doors and an antique trunk provide ample storage for clothing and suitcases. 2 Single Beds (sleeps 2). This bedroom is on the lower level, right beside the 3 piece bath with luxury sit down shower. With 2 single beds and a desk, it is an ideal spot for 2 children or 2 adults wishing separate beds. For little people guests we provide special fun linens and your very own bed bear to cuddle. 1 Queen Bed (sleeps 2). This lovely bedroom with a bed and large closet is located on the lower level, offering a quiet space away from the main floor living areas and glorious views of the ocean. The linens, artwork and furnishings add a peaceful atmosphere and comfort. 1 Queen Hide-A-Bed/Sofa Bed (sleeps 2). This lower level family room with pine wainscoting offers a spacious and quiet area with spectacular ocean views, comfortable furnishings and a ping pong table for family tournaments. A very comfortable queen sectional pull-out provides daytime sitting or nighttime resting. Wonderful pine par by the window for views and visiting. Cozy alcove off the spacious recreation room makes a private retreat for 1 or 2 or the recreation room plus this becomes a perfect club-house for teens or older children. 1 Double Futon Bed (sleeps 2), 1 Twin Lower Bunk Bed (sleeps 1) and 1 Twin Upper Bunk Bed (sleeps 1). The charming free standing summer house, near to the main house but offers privacy, has a double futon, 2 bunks, kitchenette with fridge, 3 piece bath with shower and gorgeous ocean view deck. Makes a perfect retreat for couples or singles during family gatherings. Extra charge from $300-$600 per week, only available to guests renting the main house.

• Halifax International Airport is within a 45 minute(s) drive. Easily reached by a pleasant country drive without having to go through Halifax.
• Golf: can be reached by driving for 15 minute(s). There are 10 golf course(s) nearby. Nova Scotia has many wonderful golf courses, several of which are within an hour's drive. There is an excellent local golf course with glorious ocean views about 30 minutes drive down the lovely shore road.
• Ski lifts or Runs : can be reached by driving for 90 minute(s). It is an easy drive of just over an hour to either of Nova Scotia's major ski hills, Martok near Windsor and Wentworth.
• Shopping and Dining: can be reached by driving for 10 minute(s). Unit is located in Tennecape, which is 1 hour away from Halifax. As far as shopping and getting provisions are concerned, there is Conley's, an old-fashioned, friendly general store (open Mon.-Sat. 7:30 am 9:00 PM, Sun. 1 PM - 9 PM) 10 minutes away in Noel, which provides the basics and more. There are larger grocery stores in Maitland and Kennetcook, each about 20 minutes away. There are also a number of farm markets providing local fresh produce in season, and just down the road there is the wonderful shop and gardens of Riverview Herbs. The local villages also have interesting craft and antique shops. Truro and Windsor, which have large super markets with just about everything you could want are about 45 minutes away, as is the very large and modern shopping area at Elmsdale, near the airport. Excellent restaurants, from fine dining to home cooking, are within 10-30 minutes.
• Lake is located within a 15 minute(s) drive. Beach gradient is gradual for a long distance. Beach surface is coarse sand. This home is on a 65 acre retreat, right on the ocean. The house is about 400 yards from the shore and the beach, with over 1000 feet of frontage and a private access to the miles of beach below. The house is very private and is about 600 yards from the main road. We are directly on the ocean with over 1000 feet of frontage. The tides and shallow waters in this area provide mellow temperatures for swimming. There is a vast sweep of sculpted, all but deserted red sand/pebble beach that can be walked at low tide. There is private access to the beach along a path to the shore and down a short flight of stairs.
• Nearby Attractions: Fabulous Tidal Bore Rafting 15 minutes away in Maitland, thrill of a life-time riding the tidal bore. Or walk on the ocean floor at low tide, excellent fossil and history tour. Sea Bass fishing, world famous, right on our beach. Maitland Heritage district (over 50 heritage homes) and the Lawrence House Museum 20 minutes away.

50% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 30 days in advance). A refundable security/damage deposit of 500 is required. If you cancel anytime, payments are refunded if the unit is re-rented.

• There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours.
