Oceanfront condo within a short walk of the Old Harbour in the quaint former fishing village of Hermanus. The Old Harbour is the centre of town and replete with fine dining, antique shops, art galleries, an open air crafts market and (of course) the town Whale Crier. Check out Hermanus in the book "1000 Places to See Before You Die". Watch the whales right from the balcony of your condo. The Hermanus Golf Club is directly across the street and is open to the public most times.

View
About as good as it gets. You have full, unobstructed ocean views from the balcony and all principle rooms in the house. Walk out to the cliff walk for even better view, or into the Old Harbour (5 minutes) for that famous view of Hermanus Rock.

Cape Town Airport is within a 90 minute(s) drive. The coastal route is better but takes a bit longer.
Golf: can be reached by walking for 2 minute(s). There are more than 10 golf course(s) nearby. Many excellent golf courses throughout the Western Cape. Hermanus Golf Club is across the road is open to the public most days. Arabella is 30 minutes away and one of the top courses in the country.
Shopping and Dining: can be reached by walking for 5 minute(s). Everything you need is either a short walk or a short drive.
• The unit is Ocean front. Beach gradient is steep, drops off immediately. Beach surface is rocky. You are set back about 50 meters from the ocean but there is nothing between the building and the water other than fynbos (native vegetation). You cannot swim the beach immediately in front of the building (unless you are into cliff diving) but Grotto beach is a few minute walk and many other fine beaches are within a 5-10 minute drive.
Nearby Attractions: Located directly on the 13-kilometer cliff walk.
Payments and Policies
Payment Details
50% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 30 days in advance). A refundable security/damage deposit (amount to be discussed with the owner) is required. If you cancel anytime, payments are refunded if the unit is re-rented.
Owner accepts payments by: Visa - Master Card - American Express - Direct Bank Deposit
Direct deposit available only to South African residents. In the event of a cancellation, I refund monies only to the extent that I can re-let the same dates to others. At my discretion, I will allow you to rebook to other (mutually agreed) dates. The more notice of a cancellation I have the more likely I am to accommodate such requests.

Policies
• No smoking is allowed.
• Children are allowed.
• Check in after 11:00 AM and check out before 4:00 PM. Check in/out times may be flexible upon request.
• Dogs and Cats are allowed but must be approved by the Owner.
• There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours.
• Housekeeping is provided every 7 days during a stay.
• Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
