Waterfront Privacy in the Cariboo - Floatplane Pilots Retreat
Located right on Watson Lake just outside 100 Mile House this new property opened first in June 2012 and is a quiet retread for all those looking for a relaxing Cariboo - Holiday. It features a separate entrance leading up to a beautiful 2 bedroom suite with sweeping views over the lake and Walker Valley.
With its waterfront & cul-DE-sac location, it is ideally suited for guests seeking privacy just a short distance away from all the amenities of small town living. We have paved road access and ample parking at the property and can provide garage parking for our motorcycle enthusiasts.
For those arriving by floatplane we have a dock or moorage waiting and can provide you with 100LL to carry on your trip. But why not stay awhile and explore the numerous local lakes from this central location. We will pick up and drop off fellow pilots arriving via wheel plane at either CZML or CAV3 and can provide you with a courtesy car during your stay. Just keep the tank full.
For guests arriving into either CYWL - Williams Lake or CYKA - Kamloops we recommend to rent a car or we can arrange for a pick up/drop off for a small fee.
The owners also operate Aerial Escapades, a small Ultralight Flying School here in the Cariboo and interested parties can enjoy an introductory flight or you can book training from your basic UL-Pilot Permit to upgrading your skills on wheels, skis, floats to backcountry and mountain flying. *****The owners have four mountain bikes available at no additional charge to use during your stay. **********
