Rocky Mountain Escape

Our mountain escape faces Lake Windermere with a perfect view of mountains, lake,local birds and wildlife. Developed hot springs are within 20 minutes driving (Fairmont and Radium). There are a number of skiing choices. Closest is Panorma 30 minutes; Kimberley and Kicking Horse at Golden 1 hour; Lake Louise and Sunshine 1 1/2 to 2 hours. There are numerous world class golf courses in the valley, all within a 10 - 20 minutes drive. There are also many golf courses for beginners or "relaxed" golfers. Invermere has all amenities - schools, medical, shopping.

Distances
• This is a local airport. The nearest International airport is located in Calgary about a 3 1/2 hour drive.
• Golf: can be reached by driving less than 1 minute away. There are more than 10 golf course(s) nearby.
• Ski lifts or Runs : can be reached by driving less than 1 minute away. Panorama is located about 20 minutes from Invermere. Kimberley, Kicking Horse, Lake Louise and Sunshine are within driving distance.
• Shopping and Dining: can be reached by walking less than 1 minute away. I can walk to the grocery store in 10 minutes. Downtown where there are shops and restaurants is a 20 minute walk.
• Beach is located within a 5 minute(s) walk. Beach gradient is gradual for a long distance. Beach surface is coarse sand. John Cabot Provincial Park is directly in front of our mountain escape. There is a boat launch site next to Lake Windermere Pointe but the boats do not have an overnight dock. Boat owners appear to pull the boats out nightly. Boats can be stored in the underground parkade in our designated stall. Beach Equipment: Rentals Nearby.
• Nearby Attractions: The downtown of Invermere has many artists and their works can be found in shops. You can sign up to take a course on making glass beads or just watch a glass blowing demonstration. You can hire a plane or helicopter to show you the valley. Heliskiing at Panorama is also popular
Payments and Policies
Payment Details
10% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 10 days in advance). A credit card is required for a security/damage deposit. If you cancel less than 3 days prior, payments (less one night's rental) are refunded.
Owner accepts payments by: Visa - Master Card - American Express - Money Order or Cashiers Cheque - Direct Bank Deposit - Cash - Diners Club - Email Money Transfer - Western Union - Travelers Cheques
*Please note that the above policies relate to the Owner's portion only.
Policies
• No smoking is allowed.
• Children are allowed.
• Check in after 4:00 PM and check out before 11:00 AM. Check in/out times may be flexible upon request.
• No pets allowed (Except for Service Animals).
• There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours.
• No Maid Service is provided during a stay.
• Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
• Pool heat is included in rates.
