Beautiful Log House in Niseko - Japan's Powder Snow Capital
Our log house is set on a large plot with fantastic views from the front to Mt. Yotei. The rear windows look out to the ski slopes. The basement garage with separate ski-store leads into a large bathroom area. The ground floor comprises large living/dining area with cozy log stove (plenty of logs) & kitchen with breakfast bar. The huge furnished deck faces Mt Yotei. A 2nd sitting room/4th bedroom is at the rear. The upper floor has 3 double bedrooms, huge deck, 1 bathroom and 1 toilet. Recliners are provided on all the decks. Niseko averages 14 meters of powder a year - just think of it!!

    Awesome view of Yotei, which is one of Japan's classic volcanoes. Clad in snow, it makes snuggling up on a lounger on the front deck of the house - under a warm duvet - well worthwhile.

    The house has been fully renovated for summer 2007 - All furniture, kitchen and appliances are new. Rental can include use of a 4WD van parked in the internal garage.

    • Sapporo Airport is within a 90 minute(s) drive. Cars can be rented at Sapporo or (better) take the regular shuttle bus and hire a van in Niseko.
    • Transit: can be reached by driving for 3 minute(s). Type of transit is Bus. There is a regular shuttle bus from Sapporo Chitose Airport to Niseko taking around 90 minutes
    • Golf: can be reached by driving for 4 minute(s). There are 3 golf course(s) nearby.
    • Ski lifts or Runs : can be reached by driving for 2 minute(s). Niseko has probably the best powder skiing in the universe! There are 3 base stations to use, all within a 4-minute drive, and all with easy parking. The house is 800 meters from the nearest Hirafu lifts. A rental car is useful to sample all the ski lift base stations and avoid lines in busy periods.
    • Shopping and Dining: can be reached by walking less than 1 minute away. The Mongolian Yurt restaurant is right across the street. The village restaurants and shops are 900 meters away.
    • Nearby Attractions: Several Onsen (natural hot baths) are within a 10-minute drive
    Payments and Policies
    Payment Details
    50% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 30 days in advance). A refundable security/damage deposit of 500 is required. If you cancel anytime, payments (less 50%) are refunded if the unit is re-rented.
    Owner accepts payments by: PayPal - Direct Bank Deposit
    Preferred payment - by funds transfer to our bank in Japan, Singapore, Hong Hong, UK or Canada
    *Please note that the above policies relate to the Owner's portion only.
    Policies
    • No smoking is allowed.
    • Children are allowed.
    • Check in after 4:00 PM and check out before 10:00 AM.
    • A maximum of 1 pet is allowed but must be approved by the Owner.
    • Guests are asked to be quiet between the times of 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
    • No Maid Service is provided during a stay.
    • Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
