• Parking Provided: 2 Underground, 1 Outdoor. There is secure underground parking; it is accessed via a special key that also operates the elevator. Upon arrival you will find the key in your room. The ground floor parking is only temporary to walk in and get something from the condo on the way to the beach.

Master Bedroom

1 Queen Bed. The Master Bedroom has a Queen size bed and the room is decorated with Hawaiian flair.

Alcove

1 Queen Hide-A-Bed/Sofa bed and 1 Single/Twin Hide-A-Bed/Sofa bed. This screened in 3rd floor lanai has a queen size hide-a bed plus a single bed. Since the temperatures are so mild there is a sheet, cover, and quilt. More blankets are in the hall closet. You probably won't need them because the night time lows are about 65 degrees Fahrenheit, which is quite mild.

Bathroom 1 has toilet, bathtub, shower and one basin.

The Condo is on the 3rd floor next to a 100-year-old church, with a flower rich courtyard. The Lanai puts you at tree top level where you can watch the birds taking nectar from the top of the large lily trees. Also from the Lanai or even more so from the BBQ areas you are looking at a breath taking view of Kona Bay. Watch the activities like the submarine ride, parasailing, and water sports. You can even watch nightly Hawaiian dinner cruise board and leave port right in the bay. The sundowns from the BBQ deck are fabulous!

More Information

There are two BBQ decks with deluxe BBQ units that over look Kona Bay. There is a private pool that your elevator key will let you in to. The marble floor keeps the temperature so ideal you seldom need to turn on the A/C or the heat.

Distances

• It is only 8 miles from the Kona International Airport to the Kona Plaza Condo. Close enough to be close, far enough to be quiet. Kona is not in any flight path so you seldom can even see the planes and never hear them.
• Golf: can be reached by walking for 5 minute(s). There are approximately 20 golf courses on this side of the island. They range from very easy to extremely difficult. They are priced competitively and there are discount coupons at the condo for most of the golf courses.
• Ski lifts or Runs : can be reached by driving for 90 minute(s). At times there is water skiing in Kona bay. Believe it or not, at times there is even snow skiing on the top of Kea Moa.
• Shopping and Dining: can be reached by driving for 45 minute(s). The complex is a 5-minute walk to the shops, a shopping center and more. There is also an hourly free bus transit that stops on Alii Drive. Or you can rent a car and drive anywhere on the island. Kona is the heart of the tourist activities, but there are also activities on the other sides of the island. Safeway is just 2 blocks away along with Wal-Mart, Wendy’s, McDonalds, Starbucks, Denny's and more.
• Beach gradient is gradual for a short distance. Beach surface is sand and rocks. There is a beach right across the street from unit. There are also public beaches all along the coastline depending on what beach activity you want. Swimming, sun bathing, snorkeling, scuba diving, and para-sailing, volleyball, bicycling, mopedding, Coffee Plantation Tours, surfing, fishing, sightseeing, horseback riding, helicopter tours, macadamia nut factory, volcano rours and island shopping just to name a few. There are about 20 beaches along the Gold Coast. They are small private beaches anywhere from 1/2 mile long to 100 yards long. The beach is public property in Hawaii so there are a lot of beaches to chose from. Many have state parks attached to them to provide all of the extras.

Payments and Policies

Payment Details

All of the rent is required (30 or more days in advance) to complete the booking. A refundable security/damage deposit of 200 is required. If you cancel anytime, payments (less 50) are refunded if the unit is re-rented.
Owner accepts payments by: Personal Cheque - PayPal - Money Order or Cashiers Cheque - Cash
Personal Check and Money order prefered over all the others. The advantage of Paypal is that it handles the conversion to or from US dollars which is the only currency I accept. From non-US Dollar countries go to your bank and ask for a Bank check in US Dollars for the ampount and mail it to the Colorado Business Office.

Policies

• No smoking is allowed.
• Children are allowed.
• Check in after 3:00 PM and check out before 11:00 AM.
• No pets allowed (Except for Service Animals).
• Guests are asked to be quiet between the times of 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
• No housekeeping is provided during a stay.
• Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
