Our elevation is much cooler than near the beaches, we have less mosquitoes and much less hustle & noise. Run around and enjoy all Kona has to show you but return at night to re-charge & get ready to go again. Lots of windows and ceiling fans for ventilation. Both an inside and outside table. Wardrobe and cabinet provides space to unpack and spread out. We are just 5 minutes to town, 10 minutes to some of the best beaches, 10 minutes to Wal-Mart & Costco yet remote enough. |

There is some view of the ocean from the property. The property itself is one acre and you can walk to a slightly higher slope and see the water. More significant is that the property itself is well manicured and you are right outside the green grass of a big yard. Birds are very active and numerous. Many plants abound, like bananas, which when in season can be picked and eaten. We have unusal plants like coffee trees which many people have not seen before and if you are there during September thru February you are likely to see the red coffee berries (called cherry) on them. Late toward sunset flocks of turkeys will gather and then fly up to the tree branches to sleep.

Payment Details
All of the rent is required (60 or more days in advance) to complete the booking. A refundable security/damage deposit (equal to one night's rent) is required. If you cancel less than 60 days prior, there is no refund unless the unit is re-rented.
Policies
Owner accepts payments by: Personal Cheque (Available for guests booking 30 or more days prior to arrival) - Visa - Master Card - American Express - PayPal - Money Order or Cashiers Cheque - Discover Card If your total amount is over $500 and you will be arriving in over 60 days, then you qualify to pay for your vacation rental in two payments and this is how that works: (1) The first payment (also called the Initial or Hold or Booking Deposit) is at least $500 (you can pay more if you prefer) and it is due As Soon As Possible to secure your space and the dates you want to stay; (2) The second payment is the balance and that payment is due before 60 days of your arrival date. We will refund all but $50 if you give written notice 60 days before your booking starts, otherwise we refund only for what we can re-book. The Damage Deposit ($65) is fully refunded if there is a cancellation; after you leave if you have not left an unusual mess or done damages (about 1 in 15 people we need this for) we refund back to you within a week. ****For bookings longer than 60 days you keep paid TWO MONTHS AHEAD until you are two months away from departure, then no more funds are due.**** *Please note that the above policies relate to the Owner's portion only.
• No smoking is allowed.
• Children are allowed. • Check in after 3:00 PM and check out before 12:00 PM. Check in/out times may be flexible upon request. • No pets allowed (Except for Service Animals). • Guests are asked to be quiet between the times of 9:00 PM and 7:00 AM. • No Maid Service is provided during a stay. • Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure. |
