Living Room

1 Double Hide-A-Bed/Sofa Bed (sleeps 2) and 1 Double Futon Bed (sleeps 2). The hide-a-bed is adjacent to the fire place and the pillows are in the master bedroom. The new (2006) Mission Style futon & mattress, firm-deluxe made by Sealy, is very comfortable and easy to change to a bed and back to a couch.The futton bedding package & pillows are found in the pine chest coffee table.

1 Queen Bed (sleeps 2). New (2007) deluxe pillow top mattress & box spring. All BED LINEN is 310-400 thread count, Bedroom has mirror closet doors,

The southern view is of the forested picnic area and tennis court. The spectacular, uninterrupted view of the Rocky Mountains is best seen from the adjacent common room, pool, hot tub, and BBQ picnic area. No cars are parked on the view side.

Guest will especially enjoy the 9 1/2 foot ceilings & the large open kitchen-dining-livingroom which is esential to entertaining.The Condo has an alpine cabin decor with rustic maple furniture, numerous Canadiana paintings, wood-burning stove with faux brick (fire logs may be purchased at the main office). Deluxe bed linen is 310-400 thread count, Bathroom towels are deep pile by Ralph Lauren. Guests should bring Beach Towels. The Condo is located on the main floor and is conveniently located to the complex's amenities: COMMON ROOM with stone fire place & TV, picnic-BBQ area, sauna, hot tub & summer pool where adults and children gather to enjoy the mountain view, entertain & meet other guests . The slope side rental is close to the activities & fun, but far enough away to preserve the peace & quiet of the surrounding mountains.

It is so easy to ski in for a Condo Lunch or a picnic lunch. Kootenay Haus has a large deck at the top of the mountain and is a great place to take your own lunch. One skis down to buy a lift ticket. In minutes, you can Cross Country Ski to the Kimberley Nordic Cross Country Trails that are groomed, double tracked and lit for night skiing. For Snow Shoeing or Skating, Trickle Creek Winter Park is located at the Golf Course Lodge (3 minute drive)

Lake is located within a 25 minute(s) drive. Beach gradient is gradual for a long distance. Beach surface is fine sand. There is a dock. The dock is public. A safe wilderness experience for our guests is the 5 minute walk to Kimberley Nature Park (1800 acres or 800 hectors). Several dozen kilometers of multi-use trails criss-cross the forest linking small ponds and panoramic view points. A beautiful place to walk, hike, bike, ski or snowshoe. Maps for $2 downtown. PREMIER LAKE & WASA LAKE, at the base of the Rockies, are a 30 minute drive. The Saint Mary's River is a 15 minute drive for fly fishing. Wasa Beach is located at WASA LAKE and is a 25 minute drive north of Kimberley on Highway 93 towards Fort Steel. The water is warm.. The Provincial Park has 2 public beaches. access areas for beaching up, picnic area, boating and has a 5 mile paved path around the lake for walkers, joggers, bikers and rollerbladers. Boat and Canoe rental are available, two eateries and a general store. Free beach parking. Premier Lake Prov. Park is 36 minute drive north of Kimberley. 1 nights rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 30 days in advance). A refundable security/damage deposit of 150 is required. If you cancel 15 or more days prior to arrival, payments (less 50) are refunded.
Owner accepts payments by: Personal Cheque - Money Order or Cashiers Cheque
If you cancel and are able to re-book your holiday, you receive a 100%credit on your new dates.
