    This home has an unbelievably panoramic view overlooking the valley on one side and an exceptional view of a beautiful mountain range on the other.
    More Information
    To the west the panoramic view from the deck is incredible and a golf course is slated to be built in the not too distant future. This home will be approximately 250 yards up the side of a hill from one of the fairways. To the east (the front of the house)there is a spectacular view of the East Kootenay's Mountain Range. This home is located in a new, gated community called Crooked Tree which has only 22 lots for development. At this time (Feb 2005) there are only 8 or 10 completed or in various stages of completion.

    • Golf: can be reached by driving for 45 minute(s). There are five first class 18 hole golf courses and one 9 hole golf course, each only 8 km. away. Also, within 20 km. there are three more championship 18 hole golf courses and several more within 100 km.
    • Ski lifts or Runs : can be reached by driving for 45 minute(s). There is a small ski resort about 10 minutes away by car and 2 world class ski resorts in the area, one being Panorama which is a 30-40 minute drive away and Kimberley which is just over an hour away.
    • Shopping and Dining: can be reached by driving for 45 minute(s). There are two shopping and dining areas within 8 km. from Crooked Tree, one being Fairmont Hot Springs and the other Invermere. Both have quaint shops, first rate grocery stores and fine and casual dining.
    • Lake Winderemere is 8 km. to the north and Columbia Lake is 8 km. to the south. There is also river rafting close by; whether you have your own raft and prefer meandering down a slow moving river through a golf course or for the more adventurous, booking with a touring company for some "wild water" rafting. There is a beach about a 10 minute drive away in Invermere.
    Payments and Policies
    Payment Details
    1 nights rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 30 days in advance). A refundable security/damage deposit of 400 is required. If you cancel 30 or more days prior, payments (less 1 nights rent) are refunded.
    Owner accepts payments by: Personal Cheque - Money Order or Cashiers Cheque - Direct Bank Deposit - Cash
    A credit card is required for security/damage deposit.
    *Please note that the above policies relate to the Owner's portion only.
    Policies
    • No smoking is allowed.
    • Children are allowed.
    • Check in after 4:00 PM and check out before 10:00 AM.
    • No pets allowed (Except for Service Animals).
    • Guests are asked to be quiet between the times of 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
    • No housekeeping is provided during a stay.
    • Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
