Our family home is for rent in a quiet neighbourhood of the small mountain town of Nelson, B.C.. Many windows offer spectacular views of the surrounding mountains which offer numerous recreational opportunities. There is plenty of powder snow for great skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling and snowshoeing. A 20 minute walk will take you to historical downtown Nelson where you can find shopping, galleries, restaurants, cinema, theatre, live music and numerous great coffee houses. In addition, Ainsworth Hot Springs is only 45 minutes away which feature a unique natural hot-water cave.

    • Shopping and Dining: can be reached by driving for 20 minute(s). Down town Nelson is a 20 minute walk from the house. Nelson has extensive selection of unique stores and over 20 restaurants.
    • Kooteny Lake is a 30 minute walk from the house. Public beach on Kootenay Lake is a 30 minute walk from the house.
    Payments and Policies
    Payment Details
    50% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance on arrival - cash or traveler's check). A refundable security/damage deposit of 500 is required. If you cancel less than 7 days prior, there is no refund.
    Owner accepts payments by: Personal Cheque - Direct Bank Deposit - Cash
    *Please note that the above policies relate to the Owner's portion only.
    Policies
    • No smoking is allowed.
    • Children are allowed.
    • Check in after 1:00PM and check out before 11:00AM.
    • No pets allowed (Except for Service Animals).
    • Guests are asked to be quiet between the times of 11:00PM and 7:00AM.
    • Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure. Housekeeping is provided every 7 days during a stay.
