Many people who have either worked in the apartment or stayed, visited, say we have the best views of the sea, the harbour and also the hills. Many of the people who have worked here are Portuguese and it is with a belated breath when they walk on to our porch.

This kitchen has been altered to suite the requirements of the owner and I am sure that this will be benificial to others that have to use it. It also has a venetian blind.
Bed Summary
Master Bedroom
1 Queen Bed (sleeps 2). This designer master bedroom has Oak fitted his and hers wardrobes that are fitted from floor to ceiling. Designer curtains and poles. Other furniture is a dresser that also has a large fitted mirror and two side tables to the bed; these are cherry wood. The floor is made from laminated Oak this also includes the skirting.
Bedroom
1 Queen or 2 Singles Bed (sleeps 2). This designer bedroom has Oak fitted his and hers wardrobes that are fitted from floor to ceiling. Designer curtains and poles. Cupboard is a dresser made of cherry wood. The floor is made from laminated Oak and also this includes the skirting.

1 Single Lower Bunk Bed (sleeps 1) and 1 Single Upper Bunk Bed (sleeps 1). Pine bunk beds. Pine dresser, there is a tiled floor and skirting. Curtains are also made in Portugal.
Bathrooms
Bathroom 1 is an en suite and has toilet, bathtub, shower, hair dryer, one basin and bidet.
Bathroom 2 is an en suite and has toilet, shower, hair dryer and one basin.
View
They are reckoned to be the best views in the town or so we have been told, by our electrician, carpenter, painter, housemaid, (all Portuguese) and many guests who have stayed here. It is the place to share this delightful view. See this for yourself. We have one small veranda that looks over the town and sea and a much larger veranda that looks over the sea and the mountains.

This beautiful penthouse is the best way to enjoy your stay in Portugal. Apartment has air conditioning and a barbecue area.

Distances
Faro Airport is within a 60 minute(s) drive. The airport is one hour from the property by car (Faro) and the train is 15 minute walk, the bus is 10 minute walk. Approx. 6 euros (pensioners) for return train ticket to the airport and back. There is the taxi to the station which is 8 euros then the taxi to our flat 6 euros but do you want to be that mean? You are on holidays, hire a car!
Golf: can be reached by driving for 15 minute(s). There are 2 golf course(s) nearby. Now we are talking about Portugal; this has developed into the home for golfers. How many golf courses in this area? Do you have time to get round them all? We have the Parque da Floresta, Palmares, Pennina and on your doorstep, the Boavista. There are many others but the nearest will take you 20 minutes by car.
Shopping and Dining: can be reached by walking for 20 minute(s). The nearest shops are very close to the property, less than 5 minutes. There are other shops all around you, from the superstore to the pharmacy. Dining: there is a restaurant very close by, but you have to book a head. Another restaurant is a couple minutes walk away and has takeout and is also a very cheap and good restaurant. The beach also has many restaurants on them depending on where you swim, eating places on the beach have many lovely dishes to offer and also sell water, ice creams and most requirements that you need.
• Beach gradient is gradual for a short distance. Beach surface is fine sand. There is a dock. The penthouse has a very large beach that is placed behind the harbour with a smaller beach at the end of the river. This is not a sea front property however it is only 10 minute walk to one beach and sea and 15 minute walk to the other beach and sea. There is a river that runs parralel with the main street on one side of the road. The river leads out to the sea, this is a beautiful walk. There are two beaches that are within walking distance of the flat. Both of them are perfect for sunbathing and swimming with a very gradual slope running down to the sea. You will find many people who sell boat trips to many parts of the sea, the caves, the dolphins. The finest ones come from the marina where there are a lot of shops. These run from two shops on the marina, one that has two small boats (inflatable) and the other which has one large boat (inflatable). We saw more than enough dolphins on our trip. There are so many other trips by boats, enjoy yourself - it is not expensive.
Payments and Policies
Payment Details
20% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 30 days in advance). A refundable security/damage deposit of 200 is required. If you cancel anytime, payments are refunded if the unit is re-rented.
Owner accepts payments by: Personal Cheque - Money Order or Cashiers Cheque - Direct Bank Deposit - Cash - Travelers Cheques
The Owner will require all full names of persons staying at the Apartment. Also needed is children ages.

Policies
• No smoking is allowed.
• Children are allowed. A Crib can be provided.
• Check in after 11:00 AM and check out before 11:00 AM. Check in/out times may be flexible upon request.
• No pets allowed (Except for Service Animals).
• There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours.
• Maid Service is provided every 7 days during a stay.
• Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
