Wide expanse of lake viewable from every room. 100 feet frontage at widest part of the lake with deep water dock for boating, plus anchored float for weed-free swimming and fishing. Two man kayak with paddles and life vests included. Cross country skiing and ice fishing in winter.

    Arrival day is any day of the week except in summer (June 15 - Sept 15) when arrival day is Saturday only. Smoking is permitted but confined to screened in porch area. Credit card required for long distance calls on phone.

    • Golf: can be reached by driving for 10 minute(s). There are 3 golf course(s) nearby. There is a golf course directly on Lake Bomoseen easily accessible by boat from the cottage and drivable by car in ten minutes. Lake St. Catherine golf course is twenty minute drive south.
    • Ski lifts or Runs : can be reached by driving for 30 minute(s). Killington, Pico, and Okemo are a twenty-five minute easy drive from the lakefront cottage. For Killington from Castleton Corners take Route 4 north to Rutland, an 18 minute drive and go north from Rutland exit. For Okemo from Castleton Corners take Route 4 to Rutland, an 18 minute drive and go south from Rutland exit. Cross country skiing and snowshoeing are available right on the lake and on the roadway provided the lake is frozen and there is sufficient natural snow.
    • Shopping and Dining: can be reached by driving for 5 minute(s). Village shopping and dining is 2.5 miles from cottage. There are three restaurants directly on Lake Bomoseen easily accessible by boat from the cottage. Bromley in Manchester, VT is a forty minute drive and the town has wonderful outlet shopping and many restaurants.
    • The unit is Lake front. Beach gradient is gradual for a short distance. Beach surface is coarse sand. There is a dock and moorage float/anchor. The dock is private. There is room for 1 boats. Cottage has 100 feet of private lake frontage. Crystal clear water one to two feet deep at shoreline and deep enough to dive right in off the dock. Swim float with ladder anchored about twenty feet out. Ladder on dock at shallow end. Separate dock for two man kayak which comes with the rental. Beach Equipment: Canoe.
    • Nearby Attractions: The Great Escape amusement park in Lake George is less than one hour drive.
    Payments and Policies
    Payment Details
    All of the rent is required (30 or more days in advance) to complete the booking. A refundable security/damage deposit of 400 is required. If you cancel anytime, payments are refunded if the unit is re-rented.
    Owner accepts payments by: Money Order or Cashiers Cheque - Cash
    If a last minute booking occurs owner will meet the the rentor at the cottage and payment will be accepted in full in cash upon arrival.
    *Please note that the above policies relate to the Owner's portion only.
    Policies
    • No smoking is allowed.
    • Children are allowed. A Crib, High Chair and a Play Pen can be provided.
    • Check in after 3:00 PM and check out before 10:00 AM.
    • No pets allowed (Except for Service Animals).
    • There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours.
    • No Maid Service is provided during a stay.
    • Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
