Launch your boat from the nearby public access ramp or stroll to the beach at Arbutus Park for swimming and barbecue. Hike up our switchback road for the eagle's eye view of the lake from the flat at the top of the property. Keep an eye out for the two little forked horn bucks who grew up behind the house; you might even spot our local herd of elk grazing in the backyard- we did! The forest stretches behind you forever, but if you need supplies the Shop & Save store is across the road. Enjoy a cozy evening by the wood-stove or dine in style at the newly renovated Youbou Pub and Restaurant. |

View
The lake view is through and over trees- the house enjoys a sunny southwest exposure towards the lake, which is about 200 yards away. The terrain slopes downward with Youbou road and some cottages across the road and below. The view behind the house is up a fairly steep slope to the forest. Our property extends back about 700 feet up the slope with a cleared space near the top that is reached by a switchback dirt road.
The view from the top is sweeping and looks down over Saseenos peninsula, marble bay and across the lake to Honeymoon bay.

Payment Details
25% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 10 days in advance). There is no security/damage deposit required. If you cancel anytime, payments (less 50) are refunded if the unit is re-rented.
