Two private decks overlook the marina and lake. The marina activity provides a source of entertainment on it's own. The Chemainus cottage is built on pilings over the water and has an incredible vista view of the Gulf Islands. Guests have told us we should rent the cottage & toss in the Lake House (it's that beautiful).
Amazing 2 for 1 offer! With your Lake House rental we will extend use of our quaint oceanfront cottage. It's situated on a half acre lot just 4 blocks from the heart of Chemainus, a popular tourist destination. Chemainus is a 40 minute drive from the Lake. The cottage has running water, power and natural gas. It features a very large private picnic area next to a sand beach. This is the true West Coast Experience! You get both properties, one on a lake & one on the ocean.

There is room for 25 boats. The Lake House is across the street from the Marina. The Chemainus cottage has a long set of stairs to the sand beach and we keep 2 kayaks in the boat house. The cottage feels quite remote but is only 5 blocks from the bustling town center. This is a great romantic get-a-way for a couple for a night in a rustic cottage. Beach Equipment: Rentals Nearby.
• Nearby Attractions: Each property is just over an hours drive north of Victoria and we are just a 40 minute drive south from Nanaimo.
The payment policy is flexible and can be worked out with the owner. There is no security/damage deposit required. If you cancel anytime, payments are refunded if the unit is re-rented.

• Check in after 4:00 PM and check out before 11:00 AM. Check in/out times may be flexible upon request.

• There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours.
• No Maid Service is provided during a stay.
• Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
