Please leave the Vacation Home in a clean condition. The linens and towels should be placed in the laundry hamper. The dishes cleaned and put away and the dishwasher loaded and turned on if there are last minute dishes. A cleaning fee may be applied. No Pets & No Smoking - There is a min. $350 Deep Cleaning Charge if Smoking or Pets are on property.

All of the items in the Vacation Rental Unit will be listed with replacement costs in case of broken or missing items that the renters are responsible for paying for the replacement value.
1 Double Hide-A-Bed/Sofa Bed (sleeps 2). The Living Room has a new pull-out Double Sofa bed. This will accommodate 2 additional people. The rate per person per night over double occupancy is $25.
1 King or 2 Singles Bed (sleeps 2). The Bunkhouse can accommodate 2 extra people. It has 2 Twin Beds that could possibly be placed together & an air mattress or foamy put on top to create a larger bed. The rate for the bunkhouse is $50/night (same charge for single or double occupancy) with a 3-night minimum, in addition to the regular rate for the Waterfront Vacation House.
1 Queen Bed (sleeps 2). The Master Bedroom has a Large Juliet Balcony and a Large Walk-In Closet! The Queen-Sized Bed is a Luxury Bed that has a Plush Side and a Firmer Side - to suit the preference of each person.
Bathroom 1 has toilet, bathtub, shower and one basin.

• Nanaimo or Victoria Airport is within a 90 minute(s) drive.
• Transit: can be reached by walking for 5 minute(s). Type of transit is Bus. There are local taxis and a bus route that goes around the lake and to Duncan, Nanaimo, and Victoria.
• Golf: can be reached by driving for 15 minute(s). There are 2 golf course(s) nearby.
• Ski lifts or Runs : can be reached by driving for 120 minute(s). Mt. Washington is approximately 2 hours away from Lake Cowichan. There are a couple of smaller ski hills closer to the Retreat Centre.
• Shopping and Dining: can be reached by walking less than 1 minute away. The Retreat House is right in the heart of Lake Cowichan and it is in walking distance to all the shopping and dining restaurants that are available in the town!
• The unit is Lake front. Beach gradient is gradual for a short distance. Beach surface is rocky. There is a dock and moorage float/anchor. The dock is private. There is room for 2 boats. There is a sandy beach within a 5 minute walk from the Retreat House called The Duck Pond. There is a launch for boats within a 5 minute drive. There is a water walkway and a large, soft, sandy beach within a 10 minute drive. Beach Equipment: Canoe, Rentals Nearby and Water Trampoline.
• Nearby Attractions: Lake activities: Waterskiing, Tubing, Kneeboarding, Wakeboarding, Boating, Fishing, and Swimming. River Activities: Kayaking, Canoeing, Tubing down the river, fishing, suntanning on dock, swimming, & water trampoline. Golf at 2 Golf Courses (March Meadows and Duncan Golf & Country Club) Tennis within 10 minute walk. Chemainus Live Theatre & Cowichan Theatre within 30 minute drive. Pubs within walking distance.
50% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 60 days in advance). A refundable security/damage deposit of 300 is required. If you cancel anytime, all payments are forfeited except your security/damage deposit. Owner accepts payments by: Visa - Master Card - American Express Your Vacation at the Executive Waterfront House in Lake Cowichan is reserved with any major credit card (Visa, MC, & Amex). A $300 security deposit is due within 60 days prior to arrival.

• No smoking is allowed.
• Children are allowed. A High Chair and a Play Pen can be provided with a deposit/fee of: $10 fee each.
• Check in after 4:00 PM and check out before 11:00 AM. Check in/out times may be flexible upon request.
• No pets allowed (Except for Service Animals).
• Guests are asked to be quiet between the times of 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
• An optional Daily Maid Service is available for the following fee of $50 minimum.
• Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
