Lake Cowichan Guest House - Garden View Suite
Our 1,000 square foot, two bedroom, one bathroom Garden View Suite occupies the lower level of the Lake Cowichan Guest House. The house sits a short 1 minute stroll from sandy beach access at Arbutus Park (dock, great playground, picnic area). Both bedrooms are very bright and spacious. The living room has a pull out sofa. The unit sleeps six (max). Walk onto the private patio and backyard for a BBQ or sit and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee with your favorite book. This is one of two suites that can be rented separately or together.

    • Shopping and Dining: can be reached by driving for 20 minute(s). It is a 10 minute drive to Lake Cowichan for dining and shopping and a thirty minute drive to Duncan for more dining and shopping.
    • Beach gradient is gradual for a short distance. Beach surface is coarse sand. There is a dock. Across the street from Arbutus park and beach. We do not provide beach equipment.
    Payments and Policies
    Payment Details
    25% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due on arrival). A refundable security/damage deposit of 250 is required. If you cancel less than 30 days prior to arrival, there is no refund unless re-rented.
    Owner accepts payments by: Money Order or Cashiers Cheque - Cash - Travelers Cheques
    If paying rental amount by cheque, it must be received no later than 15 days prior to your stay to allow time for it to clear. Damage deposit is payable in cash only unless a cheque has been received 15 business days prior to your stay so it has had time to clear. Deposit will be mailed back to you in the form of a cheque less the cost of any damage to the property. You do not have to wash all the sheets and make the beds, or clean bathrooms, etc., before you leave, but we expect the house to be tidy to ensure we have time to prepare it for the next guests. The beds need to be stripped of sheets, and placed along with used towels in the laundry room. The kitchen needs to be left the way you

    Policies
    • No smoking is allowed.
    • Children are allowed.
    • Check in after 5:00 PM and check out before 12:00 PM. Check in/out times may be flexible upon request.
    • Dogs and Cats are allowed but must be approved by the Owner. A deposit/fee of 20.00 will apply.
    • Guests are asked to be quiet between the times of 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
    • Housekeeping is provided every 7 days during a stay.
    • Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
