In the heart of the village of Villerach, nestling in one of the sheltered valleys for which this area is renowned, overlooked by the majestic Mont Canigou, this barn conversion keeps many of its original features like the high beamed ceilings and exposed stone walls. It is equipped and furnished with great flair and the stylish first floor living area has fabulous views from the dining terrace out to the hills and mountains. The private, fenced pool is set in the small enclosed garden amongst pretty flowerbeds, and there is a sunny dining terrace in the courtyard. Take the famous yellow train (le petit train jaune) up into the Pyrénées, enjoy a dip in a naturally occurring open air hot pool or take a thallasso treatment in one of the many old spa towns. A drive north takes you into historic Cathar country, head south into Spain or by air go from Perpignan (45 mins) or from Gerona airport (90 mins). Parking. The booking is confirmed once signed documents have been faxed and 25% of the rental price (+ 28 Euros booking fee) has been paid. The remaining 75% of rental fee must be paid at least 42 days prior to arrival. If you cancel 75 or more days prior, payments less 15% of rental and 50 Euros are refunded.
