Set just outside the village in northern Medoc, these two beautifully restored stone properties, which may only be reserved together, are ideal for 2 families holidaying together, set in over 2 acres of extensive lawned grounds, completely enclosed with a private swimming pool, (with steps) and surrounded by an antique tower, statue and balustrades. The two properties are furnished with valuable antiques, and are close to the ocean beaches, ranging from Soulac down to the lake of Lacanau. The Medoc area must be discovered for its wine chateaux (Margaux, Mouton - Rothschild) and the pine forests all around here are a paradise for cycling as you can cycle right down to Cap Ferret through the forest. Swimming pool (11m x 5.5m, depth 0.8m to 2.4m). DISTANCES: 1km S of Saint Vivien (tennis, shops, horse riding), 18km S of Pointe de Grave (ferry to Royan 30 minutes), 80km NW of Bordeaux, 11km E of ocean, beaches and cycle tracks, 50km from Lacanau (golf, lake).
ACCOMMODATION: Two individual houses, next to one another and each having large bay windows opening onto a terrace and gardens, living/dining rooms with valuable antiques, kitchens in each are well equipped. House 1: One 4-poster double bedroom, and another pretty double bedroom opening onto garden. Large marble bathroom with large round bath, shower, Separate WC. House 2: One double bedroom, one twin bedroom, bathroom with old-style bath, separate shower and WC. Minimum rental period for two weeks in July and August. Central heating. Baby-bed available. The booking is confirmed once signed documents have been faxed and 25% of the rental price (+ 28 Euros booking fee) has been paid. The remaining 75% of rental fee must be paid at least 42 days prior to arrival. If you cancel 75 or more days prior, payments less 15% of rental and 50 Euros are refunded.
