An experience of a lifetime: The hidden secret of the smaller Loire Valley’s picturesque countryside, Romanesque churches, their unique X11th century murals, the medieval town of Le Mans, Chartres cathedral and a visit to the famous Loire valley Chateaux and some private one not open to the public.
Immersion into French history and architecture of Medieval Christianity, through the 100 year war and into the Renaissance, along with the discovery of various Loire and Loire vineyards, cellars and wines.
Elegance and authenticity are prevalent throughout, and each of the 9 guestrooms is brimming with precious antiques, luscious fabrics, and objects d'art .
Twice a week, a Grand Siècle dinner is hosted in the XVIIth century dining room with all the family silver, crystal and porcelain. Wine & Cheese tasting suppers and picnics can be organised for small groups as well as dinner on other evenings.
The Comte & Comtessa gladly assist their guests in making the most of their stay, discovering the hidden gourmet restaurants of the region, romantic gardens, farmers markets and other sightseeing musts as well as organizing special activities, ranging from driving a racing car of your dreams around the famous Le Mans race track, partaking in a Renaissance lunch at Leonardo DE Vinci's home or flying over the wonderful countryside full of privately owned Chateaux in a hot air balloon.
