This property is wonderfully peaceful; 17 acres of land largely covered in trees, and the only neighbours anywhere around us were the guests in their part of the house above us. We slept so well at night--- with the still darkness and the fresh forest air.
This suite was the perfect 'home base' for our visits to Mabel Lake. The lake is only a 5 minute drive away, and we had such fun there.
I enjoyed the lake view from the deck and the dining area; I spent some great 'quiet time' there in the mornings and evenings, because the rest of the day was active on the lake, and I would always arrive back here tired. The queen bed was soooo welcoming after swimming in the lake all day.
I enjoyed our clean and comfy cabin suite. It was a perfect place to recouperate after the days activities. There is a larger suite above us, so I just may plan to invite some of my friends to come along next time, and they can have their own area in the rest of the house; that way we can spend time together and still enjoy an undisturbed sleep at night!
