Property is less than a 1 minute walk from the nearest Ocean. There is a private moorage with float anchor.
Our private beach is extraordinary wide (210 feet) and the water of the Caribbean Sea is usually crystal-clear. The drop off is excellent and allows swimming and snorkeling right from the beach.

Activities
Scuba Diving, Kayaking, Swimming, snorkeling and Birdwatching and Seabean collecting are about less than a 1 minute walk from the property. Our area is the best snorkel site in the Mahahual region. The barrier reef beach is in swimming distance and protects from high waves and currents. The drop off at our beach is very good and allows swimming directly from the beach. The Costa Maya is a birdwatcher and sea-bean collectors paradise!
Airport
The Cancun International airport is about a 240 minute drive/taxi from the property. It is best to rent a car in Cancun. Direct Bus service Cancun-Mahahual is available by Mexican ADO bus company.
Attractions
Mahahual dive shops, Mahahual sport fishing providers and Mahahual water sports are about a 15 minute drive/taxi from the property. Mahahual has a number of good dive operations. Some offer dive courses and trips to Banco Chinchorro
Shopping and Dining
The shops and restaurants (including Mahahual restaurants and shops) are about a 15 minute drive/taxi from the property. Mahahual has many restaurants (basic Mexican and international cuisine), shops and services. Closer are a few restaurants and small shops along the beach road. Some are not always open and/ or require reservations. Travel In' Restaurant on the beach, Kabah-Na Bar on the beach, El Castillo Hotel-Restaurant are all about 5 minutes away.
Transit
The bus is about a 300 minute bus/shuttle from the property. Direct Bus service Cancun-Mahahual is available by Mexican ADO bus company.

If the property is re-rented, the cancellation penalty is reduced.
Security or Damage Deposit
A refundable security/damage deposit of 125 USD is due immediately.
When warranted, the deposit (or portion thereof) is refunded within 14 days of departure.
The security deposit is not required from repeat guests..
