    Gorgeous sunsets and sunrises can be seen at both the shorehouse on the waterway and on the island. At night, the stars shine brightly in a clear, inky black sky.
    More Information
    This rental includes the use of one furnished home on a canal in Marathon and a conch on the island. The shore house is a modern, fully equipped two bedroom, one bath waterfront house with 100' of deepwater dock. The cottage is a quaint Bahamas island cottage on a private tropical island with 2 docks located a short boat ride away from the shore house. The cottage has bunk beds that sleep 4 for a tropical night on the island. The island is in the Florida Bay and is called Little Russell on the charts. It has a compost toilet, propane stove and open air bunk house.

    • 5 minutes from Marathon Airport, 50 minutes from Key West, 2.5 hours from Miami & 3 hours from Fort Lauderdale
    • Shopping and Dining: can be reached by driving for 20 minute(s). The shorehouse is located in Marathon with a multitude of shopping and restaurant options.
    • Beach gradient is gradual for a long distance. Beach surface is sand and rocks. There is a dock. The shore house is located on a waterway and the private island and cottage is located in the Florida Bay. The shorehouse is located on a waterway with its own deepwater dock and provides easy access to Dolphin Jump Key Island located in Florida Bay. A 16 foot skiff with a 4 cycle 35 horsepower motor is provided. The island has two docks, a small sheltered one and a deepwater dock. Kayaks are on the island for your use. The island is made of fossilized coral. In general, summer water temperature is warm as the winds are from the south, while in winter the water is lukewarm. It is an ideal place to sunbathe, swim, snorkel, scuba dive, fish and picnic.
    Payments and Policies
    Payment Details
    The damage deposit is required to complete the booking (balance due 14 days in advance). A refundable security/damage deposit of 500 is required. If you cancel anytime, payments are refunded if the unit is re-rented.
    Owner accepts payments by: Personal Cheque (Available for guests booking 30 or more days prior to arrival) - Visa - Master Card - Money Order or Cashiers Cheque
    We will mail, fax or email you a provisional rental agreement detailing all charges and requesting a deposit to hold your reservation. It will include check-in procedure and contacts. Your rental fee is due in full 30 days prior to your arrival. The Security Deposit is usually returned within 10 days of your departure.
    *Please note that the above policies relate to the Owner's portion only.
    Policies
    • No smoking is allowed.
    • Children are allowed.
    • Check in after 3:00 PM and check out before 9:00 AM.
    • Dogs are allowed but must be approved by the Owner.
    • There is no specific quiet time policy, though guests are asked to be respectful of any neighbours.
    • No Maid Service is provided during a stay.
    • Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
