Cosy, independent house (one side of the house is attached to another house) in the historic centre of the fortified town of Marostica, famous for its two medieval castles connected to one another by a wall from the 1200s and for its famous chess game with real people (recalling of a game played in 1454 by two local men to win a princess) played in the square and characterised by the famous chess board on the central stone pavement. Famous antique market on the first Sunday of the month. The accommodation is good departure point for visiting the villas of Palladio. From the first floor is a pretty view of the ancient walls. Welcome basket. Public parking nearby. It is possible to book the accommodation for 2 sleeping spaces under the name MAROSTICA 2: in this case the twin bedded room will not be made available. Simple furniture. Central heating. DISTANCES: Marostica (all kinds of shops), 7 km Bassano del Grappa (trains to Venice), 25 km Asolo (golf), 29 km Vicenza, 30 km Asiago (famous for its cheese), 50 km Padua and Treviso, 80 km Venice.
ACCOMMODATION: Gr. fl.: living/dining room with kitchen corner (oven, freezer, dishwasher), WC. 1st fl.: 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedded room, 1 bathroom with shower. Basement fl.: reading/game room with access to the equipped courtyard, room with washing machine. With entrance only from outside: garage for bikes or motorcycles.

The booking is confirmed once signed documents have been faxed and 25% of the rental price (+ 28 Euros booking fee) has been paid. The remaining 75% of rental fee must be paid at least 42 days prior to arrival. If you cancel 75 or more days prior, payments less 15% of rental and 50 Euros are refunded.
