Typical and welcoming apartments inside the tiny picturesque hamlet of Montelifré, situated on the top of a gently sloping Sienese hill which is itself dominated by the ruins of a castle dating back to the year 1000. A few years ago, after a period in which it was partly abandoned, the present owners, a Sienese noble family, through which the property has been handed down since 1300, began to restore the hamlet and the surrounding areas. Today the little hamlet is inhabited only by the owners and by the guests of the three apartments who can use the lawns and, shared with the owners, the swimming pool (6x12) situated on a sunny terracement below the hamlet, in an isolated position. Every apartment has an equipped terrace with a table for outside dining. During restoration the old wooden beams and terracotta floors were maintained whilst the furnishings include several period pieces and old prints. Extensive views over the countryside. Peaceful position. Wonderful walks.Two bicycles and a baby-bed are available. It is possible to add a folding bed or divan bed in each apartment (to be requested at the time of booking and to be paid for on the spot to the owner). Parking. Central heating. DISTANCES: Several villages and cities of art can be found in the radius of a few kilometres: 30 km Montalcino (renowned for its Brunello wine), 18 km Pienza, 22 km Montepulciano, 45 km Siena. 2 km Montisi and Trequanda (food shops)

The booking is confirmed once signed documents have been faxed and 25% of the rental price (+ 28 Euros booking fee) has been paid. The remaining 75% of rental fee must be paid at least 42 days prior to arrival. If you cancel 75 or more days prior, payments less 15% of rental and 50 Euros are refunded.
