Casa Banditello accommodates 6 people, about 1405 sf., restored in 1999, enjoys a splendid view towards south and west with large hay for sitting outside. A three entrance ground floor, with French windows to the garden, has a brightly and well-equipped kitchen (gas machine with oven, fridge, fire place-barbecue), with storeroom besides. The kitchen leads into a two-room lounge with a Tuscan fireplace at one end, furnished with antique pieces of furniture and many sofas and armchairs. A small toilet is available at ground floor. Stone steps take to first floor, which has a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom (tub) and splendid view over Montepulciano valley. Other two twin bedrooms share a bathroom with shower. Wrought iron beds, old rustic furniture, small wooden toilet mirrors, doors and in wall-wardrobes have been chosen according Tuscan country tradition. The house is airy and bright all day long. Panoramic space outside equipped with chaises-longues and iron-made chairs and table to dine outside. The house is fully equipped for maximum six: in the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. Barbecues in the kitchen (wood is available), drinkable water from public utility, instant hot water, telephone, dish washing and central heating. Mosquito nets on all windows.. Baby cots and high chairs. WiFi. THE PLACE. Restored according to the Tuscan tradition, and furnished with the owner's family furniture, is part of the Capanne di Sopra estate. The farm, accessible via a private road, is located 1.3 km from the hamlet of Montefollonico, in a secluded position and offers the panorama of Montepulciano, with the temple of San Biagio, the hilly border of the Val d'Orcia and the summit of Monte Amiata . Some 400 meters from the bituminized road, the site remains secluded while accessible only via a private driveway, ensuring that you'll be holidaying in the midst of olive groves, vineyards and woods. Upon booking we will send Google maps coordinates of the site. Montefollonico provides basic services (food shop, bank, pharmacy, restaurants, and sport bar). Montepulciano is 7 km drive, Torrita di Siena is at 5 km. To preserve the character of the site, the owners chose not to build any swimming pool. Many public swimming pools within 10 kilometres: Montepulciano, Bettolle, Sant’ Albino, Chianciano. Historical and cultural sites nearby: Montepulciano, Pienza, Val d'Orcia ( UNESCO World Heritage List), Montalcino, Cortona, Chiusi, Monte San Savino, Siena, Arezzo, Perugia and Lake Trasimeno are all within 75 minutes’ drive. Thermal spas at Chianciano, Bagno Vignoni, Bagni San Filippo and Rapolano, less than hour drive. ** INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL COST. Payment Methods
For payments made via credit card and/or Paypal, there is a 4,00 percent surcharge. PayPal, Visa, Master Card, Cash Short notice requests can only be paid by PayPal.
Booking Deposit
The booking is confirmed with a deposit of 25 percent of the rent. Long Term Stay booking is confirmed with a deposit that is 25 percent of the rent.
Payment Balance
Balance of payment is due 7 days prior to arrival. For a "Long Term Stay", the above payment balance policy is different and should be discussed with the owner.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation 7 or more days prior to arrival, all payments are refunded. Cancellation penalty varies with the number of days before arrival.
Security or Damage Deposit
No security/damage deposit is required.
Check In/ Out Times Policies - Property Access
Check IN: 06:00 PM Check OUT: 09:00 AM Guest to notify owner if they expect to arrive after 6 pm. Flexible Check In/Out times are possible, dependent on outgoing/incoming guests.
