This impressive Périgourdine style house is situated by the River Coly and just opposite a renovated lake that now offers tennis. The delightful interior is bright and airy with tiled floors and an elegant open fireplace. This tastefully decorated property is set within large enclosed gardens which lead down to the river, and beside the private swimming pool. The ancient church of Saint Amand de Coly is worth visiting, as is Montignac. Here, several wooden-balconied houses lean appealingly over the river, and it is the main base for visiting the Lascaux caves, with some of the finest examples of prehistoric art in existence. Close by is the pretty village of Salignac and the beautiful gardens of Manoir d'Eyrignac. The gastronomy of the region is renowned, with foie gras, duck, goose and of course black truffles are a speciality. The booking is confirmed once signed documents have been faxed and 25% of the rental price (+ 28 Euros booking fee) has been paid. The remaining 75% of rental fee must be paid at least 42 days prior to arrival. If you cancel 75 or more days prior, payments less 15% of rental and 50 Euros are refunded.
