The backyard is split into two areas. One sports elements of a traditional Japanese landscape with a dry-bed red river rock pathway, bamboo bridges, solar lights, bird bath, copper rain spiral, accented with natural frame-style bamboo fence and modern chocolate Korean bamboo swing gate. A flowing Perennial garden provides slow currents into a large lilac tree.

The other side has frills of lavender and mint. A BBQ and a hammock. A tiki bar and a game of ball with the dog!

    1 Queen or 2 Singles Bed (sleeps 2). A custom enlarged photo-print of London's Piccadilly Circus provides the textural expanse & contrast to the intimacy of soft Chinese jade walls. An antique chocolate leatherette acts as an inviting window seat. Accents of traditional Korean & Japanese martial arts and music collectibles. A Murphy bed wall unit displays collectibles and helps break up the traditional bedroom pattern.

    1 Double Futon Bed (sleeps 2). Indonesian teaks add warmth and richness to this salon of Asian imports including handpainted Thai umbrellas and Lao silks. The couch, across the chocolate trimmed fireplace, with single-sleeper accommodations adds chunk and weight to the open-concept living area. Light breathes in off the almost floor-ceiling deck windows. Spacious enough to accommodate the double futon with low bamboo frame to be floated in or out at guest's discretion.
    Master Bedroom
    1 Queen Bed (sleeps 2). The bed was custom-draped to look like a Moroccan divan - inviting, soft, low, with pillows and throws. A sparkling blue window wall adjacent to an oversize print of Tangier rooftops creates a sunny casual yet exotic North- African terrace experience, overlooking warm Mediterranean waters. Accents of crystal, bronze, gold, and red transform the Feng Shui bedroom chi energies.

    The unit is completely renovated with hard wood floors throughout. Furnished with tasteful artifacts picked up on several personal travels, a large bathtub that begs to bathe and pamper you...very airy, warm, and cozy.

    • Golf: can be reached by driving for 45 minute(s). There is a golf course in Kahnawake, a native reserve about 20 minutes outside of Montreal, there are other golf courses close to the unit as well.
    • Ski lifts or Runs : can be reached by driving for 45 minute(s). The nearest ski hill would be St. Sauveur, north of Montreal which is a 40 minute drive. Mt. Tremblant would be the nearest ski resort.
    • Shopping and Dining: can be reached by walking for 5 minute(s). The unit is just off Mont Royal, which is packed with great shopping and choices of restaurants - fine dining, fast food, bistros, cafes, etc. This unit is conveniently located in Montreal's hipster "Plateau" quartier, close to jazz and comedy fest areas. 5 mins from quaint Parisien style bistros, boutiques and culinary delights on Blvds St. Denis & St. Laurent. 15 min to fiesty Little Italy, 10 min drive to eclectic China Town, and 20 min to Old Montreal and the port on the St. Laurence river. other fun streets, in close proximity - laurier for oysters, sushi, dessert; st. viateur for bagels, crepes; st. laurent for portuguese, smoked meat, clubs; parc for great greek. Montreal is a walkers paradise. metro only if you must, or you may miss a cavernous used-bookstore in Mile End, a sun drenched terrasse in Outremont, and hidden antique doorways on Notre Dame Blvd.
    • The nearest lake, in the Laurentians, would be about an hour drive from the unit. Beaver lake - a favorite picnic spot for the locals is right at the crest of Mont royal, a perfect excuse to take a 25 minute hike through beautiful woods and windy gravel paths. Montreal, an island in itself, is surrounded by bodies of water and wonderful bridges. Some of the larger lakes, also a large part of a Montrealer's summer tradition, are located in the Laurentians (from 35 minutes by car into the mountains) and in the Eastern townships, the largest and most coveted one being lake Memphremagog. All these lakes have cottages that can be rented for a weekend or or even just for a few days midweek. The water is crystal clear in most and is drinkable. Most are not polluted by noisy motors of water vehicles - so enjoy Montreal's lakes when you get here.
    Payments and Policies
    Payment Details
    50% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 30 days in advance). A refundable security/damage deposit of 600 is required. If you cancel anytime, payments (less 250) are refunded if unit is re-rented.
    Owner accepts payments by: Money Order or Cashiers Cheque - Cash
    *Please note that the above policies relate to the Owner's portion only.
    Policies
    • No smoking is allowed.
    • Children are allowed.
    • Check in after 3:00 PM and check out before 10:00 AM. Check in/out times may be flexible upon request.
    • A maximum of 2 Dogs are allowed under 40lbs (14kg) in size. A deposit of check with owner will apply. A fee of check with owner will apply.
    • Guests are asked to be quiet between the times of 12:00 AM and 8:00 AM.
    • Maid Service is provided every 9 days during a stay. An optional Daily Maid Service is available for the following fee of 40.
    • Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
