2 storey, 2 BD, 1.5 Bath, cottage is open all year and by -not on- Lake Michigan's sunset beach (0.3 mile/0.5km/1-minute drive). It's on a quaint, quiet residential street and is one of two cottages on one small lot, with a shared double driveway. Central air/heat, Cable TV, DVD, new furnishings, fully equipped kitchen, extremely clean. Ideal for small families, young children, couples, singles. We cannot rent to persons under the age of 25 years. No animals of any kind.

Redbird Cottage is 0.3 mile/ 0.5km/ 2-minute drive to the "certified clean beach" at Lake Michigan, just south of Muskegon Channel. It's located in a quaint, quiet residential area of the City of Muskegon. It's in an historical area reminiscent of an eastern seaside, with 1900s small houses close together. The street has an elementary school one block down, with play equipment. The cottage home is four blocks from the Lakeshore Trail, which runs along Lake Michigan and Muskegon Lake north to North Muskegon. Redbird Cottage shares one lot with her little brother, Eagles Nest, which is on the back of the lot up on the sand dune. Both cottages share one 40-foot long driveway, with room for one car each cottage, and with free on street parking, first come, first served, except in winter (no overnight parking because of snow removal).
More Information
This area is where the Actors Colony from Chicago summered in the early 1900s. The famous Buster Keaton lived, played, and performed here along with the other actors and their various animals, including the Zebra and Elephant, who walked the street down to the beach to bathe.

Payments and Policies
Payment Details
50% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 60 days in advance). A refundable security/damage deposit of 200 is required. If you cancel anytime, payments (less 50) are refunded if the unit is re-rented.
Owner accepts payments by: Personal Cheque - Visa - Master Card - Money Order or Cashiers Cheque
First payment made by credit card or as mutually agreed upon. Final balance payment made by personal check eCheck or as mutually agreed upon.
*Please note that the above policies relate to the Owner's portion only.
Policies
• No smoking is allowed.
• Children are allowed.
• Check in after 3:00 PM and check out before 10:00 AM. Check in/out times may be flexible upon request.
• No pets allowed (Except for Service Animals).
• Guests are asked to be quiet between the times of 10:00 AM and 8:00 AM.
• No Maid Service is provided during a stay. An optional Daily Maid Service is available for the following fee of $25 payable to Housekeeper.
• Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
