Situated in a mediaeval fortified village, this converted property boasts spectacular views over the rolling Burgundy countryside. Architecturally designed, appointed and furnished to a very good standard, the interior offers a large living room with a woodburner, ideal for low season, and a piano. The French windows lead to a wooden terrace overlooking the shared, heated swimming pool and garden. The bedrooms are airy, beamed and comfortable. The English owners, who live next door could organize day trips and the delightful village of Montreal is midway between the Chablis and Beaune vineyards. The area is ideal for discovering the delights of Burgundy, popular with walkers, fishermen, canoeists, naturalists and equestrians. To the East the Abbey of Fontenay is worth a visit. To the South is the National Park of Morvan with recreational lakes and majestic forests. Shared swimming pool (10m x 5m, depth 1.4m) ( Open May-Sept. The booking is confirmed once signed documents have been faxed and 25% of the rental price (+ 28 Euros booking fee) has been paid. The remaining 75% of rental fee must be paid at least 42 days prior to arrival. If you cancel 75 or more days prior, payments less 15% of rental and 50 Euros are refunded.
