This ocean front suite is as close to the water as you can get. Great for kayakers. At low tide there is good beach combing with star fish, oysters and other critters. The property is on 300 feet of ocean yet tennis courts, a kiddie park, golf course, walking trails, convenience store and restaurant are all within walking distance. BC ferry (Horse-Shoe Bay) grocery shopping and Laundromat are within 5 minute drive. The suite is new, bright, views from all windows and hard wood floors. The patio is private and enclosed.

View
The unit is 3 feet from the seawall. At high tide the water comes right up to the sea wall---at low tide the beach stretches out about 100 meters (300 feet). There are 3 steps down to the water from the suite patio. We face New Castle Island (a provincial park) and the BC ferry (Horseshoe Bay), and look through to Gabriola Island, Georgia Strait and the mainland. You can see the public beach, a kiddie park and other houses in the distance down the beach. The nearest house to us is about 200 ft away on 1 side--there are no houses the other direction. House is on a hillside--there are gardens and green space on the suite level. The patio area is enclosed. We are south-east facing so lots of light---but shade is available. So is a hammock and comfortable chairs. We are on a deer trail and have resident otters, geese and visiting racoon's now and again.

• The unit is Ocean front. Beach gradient is gradual for a long distance. Beach surface is rocky. Beach out front is rocky--we wear water sandals. At low tide there is sand. At high-medium tide you can go out quite a long way in 2-3 feet of water. There is a public roped off sandy beach and kiddie park about 5-10 min down the beach--nothing but beach the other direction. Right across from the property is Newcastle Island a provincial park. Beach Equipment: Rentals Nearby and Row Boat.

Payments and Policies
Payment Details
2 nights rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 7 days in advance). A refundable security/damage deposit of 100 is required. If you cancel less than 3 days prior, payments (less one night's rental) are refunded.
Owner accepts payments by: Personal Cheque (Available for guests booking 14 or more days prior to arrival) - Visa - Master Card - Money Order or Cashiers Cheque - Cash - Western Union

Policies
• No smoking is allowed.
• Children are allowed.
• Check in after 2:00 PM and check out before 11:00 PM. Check in/out times may be flexible upon request.
• A maximum of 2 Dogs and/or Cats are allowed under 40lbs (14kg) in size but must be approved by the Owner. A deposit of 150.00 will apply.
• Guests are asked to be quiet between the times of 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
• No Maid Service is provided during a stay. If a guest leaves the unit as found, a rebate may be provided.
• Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
