In a quiet location, on the banks of the tree lined Canal du Midi, now a UNESCO world heritage site, this lovely house has a shady terrace where you can sample the local Corbières wine at the canal's edge. This modern, very well-equipped house has a beautiful kitchen/dining room with high beamed ceiling and French windows to two terraces and an attractively shaped pool with sun patio. The village of Ventenac has a wine château and museum, basic shops, canalside bars and restaurants and there is fishing, tennis and golf nearby. The historic village of Minerve with its ramparts and deep canyons is a major attraction. Nearby Narbonne has beautiful buildings, castle cathedral and water park. Mediterranean resorts are a short drive, as is the magical walled city of Carcassonne with its narrow streets, restaurants and museum. Pleasure boats can be hired at the château in the village. The booking is confirmed once signed documents have been faxed and 25% of the rental price (+ 28 Euros booking fee) has been paid. The remaining 75% of rental fee must be paid at least 42 days prior to arrival. If you cancel 75 or more days prior, payments less 15% of rental and 50 Euros are refunded.
