The Cottage is located at the mouth of Netarts Bay, near Oceanside and Tillamook, Oregon, and overlooks Hodgden Creek, Netarts Bay and the Pacific Ocean. It’s a spacious newly-remodeled three-bedroom cottage on a bluff over the beach - with lots of windows and spectacular views. You can walk from the cottage directly to the ocean beach on the private path, or lounge on the deck, which overlooks the Pacific Ocean. Seals nest on sandbars offshore from the cottage, Great Blue Heron fish in the waters off our beach, Pelicans sail in the sky and in the summer wild roses bloom in the yard. The area is known for Dungeness crabbing, clamming, fishing and whale watching.

More Information

BBQ for unit (private) - Deck attached to unit - Washer/Dryer in unit. The area features some excellent restaurants, lots of wildlife, state parks, and many other different types of activities. Seals nest on sandbars offshore from the cottages, Great Blue Heron fish in the waters off our beach, Pelicans sail in the sky, and in the summer wild roses and lilies bloom in the yards. The area is known for Dungeness crabbing, fresh clams and oysters, fishing and whale watching, and is part of the Three Capes Scenic Route. Netarts is a quiet, non-touristy village of a few hundred people. It’s one of the closest beaches to Portland, Oregon (75 miles, or a 90 minute drive). There’s a laundry and a small grocery store a short walk from the cottage. Major services are available 8 miles away in Tillamook.

• Shopping and Dining: can be reached by walking for 5 minute(s). The home is a 2 minute walk from a store, a 3 minute walk from a post office, and a 10 minute drive from a town of 4000 with supermarkets, department stores, and a variety of other businesses and services. There is no public transit.
• Beach gradient is gradual for a long distance. Beach surface is fine sand. You can walk directly from the house to the ocean without leaving the property. You can walk north for several miles on the beach except in stormy weather or times of extra high tides. The beach is dog-friendly. People fish from the beach, and build bonfires at night.

Payments and Policies

Payment Details

50% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 30 days in advance). A credit card is required for a security/damage deposit. If you cancel anytime, payments (less 5%) are refunded if the unit is re-rented.
Owner accepts payments by: Personal Cheque - Visa - Master Card - PayPal - Money Order or Cashiers Cheque - Cash
Payment must be received before booking is finalized.

Policies

• No smoking is allowed.
• Children are allowed.
• Check in after 2:00PM and check out before 11:00AM.
• Dogs and Cats are allowed but must be approved by the Owner.
• Guests are asked to be quiet between the times of 10:00PM and 8:00AM.
• Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure. Housekeeping is provided daily during a stay. If a guest leaves the unit as found, a rebate may be provided.
