1 Queen Futon Bed (sleeps 2). Water-view master bedroom with adjacent matching master bath. TV is in this room. View of the "3 Arch Rocks" National Wildlife Habitat designated by Teddy Rooseveldt. Floors and ceilings are douglas fir, walls are western red cedar (that great country smell!) and all the trim is in white pine. 1 Double Futon Bed (sleeps 2). Walled-off section of large sleeping loft, double bed (futon) with armoire. 1 Single Lower Bunk Bed (sleeps 1) and 1 Single Upper Bunk Bed (sleeps 1). Beautiful rustic log bunk bed made from alder logs - kids love it! 1 Double Hide-A-Bed/Sofa Bed (sleeps 2). Sofa in mail living area folds open to make a double bed right in front of the wood stove if any guests prefer to sleep here. 1 Single Foam Mattress (sleeps 1). "Alcove" really does not do justice to this very special optional sleeping area. It is in the 3rd floor glassed-in Belvedere and has spectacular views of the bay and ocean. Our 12 year old daughter will not sleep anywhere else. You hear the surf, and smell the ocean and all the wood that the house is made from. During the day this is a sitting area but can be used for sleeping at the guest's discretion.

Bathroom 1 has toilet, shower and one basin.

From the Belvedere, there is a spectacular panoramic view of the bay, the sandspit that separates the bay from the ocean, and the ocean. This same view - only better - is available from the deck off the Belvedere. The sitting benches on the Belvedere have comfy futons and are perfect for snuggling up and reading all day long in the natural light while listening to the ocean, or the rain or your favorite music. There is a substantial water view from the master bedroom. There are only snippets of water view from the kitchen and living area on the first floor.

• Portland International (PDX) Airport is within a 90 minute(s) drive. Most of the drive is lovely and rural on Oregon route 6 over the Coast Range mountains and along the coastal rivers - the highway follow the Wilson River for miles through the Tillamook National Forest. There are many great attractions in Portland and on the way, if you care to stop off.
• Transit: can be reached by walking for 5 minute(s). Type of transit is Bus. A car is recommended in this area though not absolutely necessary. The approach we recommend, if you are flying, is to rent at the Portland airport.
• Golf: can be reached by driving for 20 minute(s). There are 2 golf course(s) nearby.
• Ski lifts or Runs : can be reached by driving more than 120 minute(s). Mount Hood is magnificent and has skiing nearly near round, high on the Palmer glacier near the spectacular Timberline Lodge - build by gifted WPA craftspeople during the US Depression years. DEFINITELY worth the trip and adds a nice complement to your trip to Oregon.
• Shopping and Dining: can be reached by walking for 15 minute(s). Netarts is a small rural village RIGHT on the ba/ocean. You can easily walk (by road or by beach route) to either of 2 "general Stores" at the center of town. You can get about anything you'll need here but prices are a bit higher than the large grocery stores. If you have a car, you'll save money by driving into Tillamook (6 miles or 10-15 minutes) where much more shopping is available.
• Ocean is located within a 3 minute(s) walk. Beach gradient is gradual for a long distance. There is a dock and boat lift. The dock is public. There is room for 10 boats. There is a public boat launch a short 10 minute walk away. We do not own a boat but we prefer to rent when we need one - this is readily available with all the crabbing equipment and instructions you'll need - 2 places to rent are within a half a mile to a mile. • Nearby Attractions: Coastal Oregon is lovely, welcoming and unspoiled. If you enjoy fabulous scenery, hiking, crabbing and clamming (dungeness crabs and many kinds of clams are plentiful in Netarts Bay), birding or just walking and exploring the beach, this area is for you. There are superb local guides available for fishing and hunting. If you'd like to venture a short distance inland, the wonderful vineyards and wines of Oregon's Willamette valley are not very far and this can make an excellent day trip. During the summer, especially, the coast hosts many art and music festivals. The Oregon Coast Aquarium in Newport is an easy and pleasing day trip for the family as well.

The payment policy is flexible and can be worked out with the owner. A refundable security/damage deposit of 150 is required. If you cancel anytime, payments are refunded if the unit is re-rented.

We prefer a personal check or bank transfer well in advance to avoid credit card fees but we are flexible and will work with you to assure payment arrangements are convenient for your situation. Check-in time is 4:00 pm Check-out time is 11:00 am To respect our neighbors, reasonable quiet is expected at all times.

• No smoking is allowed.
• Children are allowed.
• Check in after 4:00 PM and check out before 1:00 PM. Check in/out times may be flexible upon request.
• No pets allowed (Except for Service Animals).
• Guests are asked to be quiet between the times of 9:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
• No Maid Service is provided during a stay.
• Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure.
