Location, Location, Location- at Slocan Lake in New Denver

Awesome place to get away from it all. Specatular views, crystal clean lake, walking distance to everything. Great swimming, boating, fishing, hiking, biking or just lounge on the back deck and soak up some rays. There is a delightful 9 hole golf course just past the northern edge of the village. Our cottage has a beautiful yard with a fenced vegetable garden. It doesn't get better than this!

New Denver is a charming village in the West Kootenay region of B. C. It is located on the eastern shore of Slocan Lake in the Selkirk Mountain range. Slocan Lake is 30 km long and the Valhalla Provincial Park with it's world class wilderness and amazing Valhalla mountain range runs along the west shore.

A few of the local attractions:
- the Selkirk scenic loop (ideal for motorbiking or cycling)
-Kohan Reflection Gardens ( a public Japanese style garden)
-Nikkei Interment Memorial Centre
-Sandon ghost town
-Friday markets from June 4 to the end of September
-Nakusp hot springs, 45 km north of New Denver. Halycon Hot Springs and Ainsworth hot springs also within easy driving distance.
-Silvery Slocan Museum
