The house is secluded in the woods (i.e., no properties in sight), but not far from the road, which it faces. Directly across the road is the river, with mountains in the background. The side views are of mature forest; there is foliage with a hillside to the rear.

This house is private and secluded, perfect for your mountain vacation experience of the four-season outdoor fun and natural glories of the Adirondack National Park, the first one established in the U.S. It is nestled in a beautiful private forest, adjacent to state park land, yet conveniently near the road, facing the scenic Hudson River (with easy access for rafting and swimming) and mountain views.
- Golf: can be reached by driving for 45 minute(s). There are 4 golf courses within a 20 minute ride.
- Ski lifts or Runs : can be reached by driving for 45 minute(s). Gore Mountain -- with almost 60 alpine trails, including 12 diamond or double-diamond, over 10 lifts and 20 backcountry trails, along with restaurant, equipment rental and instruction facilities -- is less than ten minutes away by car.
- Shopping and Dining: can be reached by driving for 45 minute(s). The town of North Creek is a seven minute drive away.
- House is a few steps from the river, with direct access for swimming, rafting, fishing, canoeing. Nearest lake is a five minute drive away, a large lake with no power boating allowed. Hiking trails on the property and adjacent park, and also on nearby mountain surrounding lake. There is another lake, which is a 20 minute drive away that has rental facilities (canoes, kayaks, etc.)
50% of the rent is required to complete the booking (balance due 15 days in advance). A refundable security/damage deposit of $100 is required. If you cancel anytime, payments (less $50) are refunded if the unit is re-rented.

- Housekeeping is provided prior to arrival and after departure. Housekeeping is provided daily during a stay. If a guest leaves the unit as found, a rebate may be provided.
